Your new role This role supports the subcontract procurement process by preparing tender packages, reconciliations, and contract documents. It works closely with the project and design teams to ensure complete tender information and identify value engineering opportunities. The position assists with assessing and processing subcontractor payments while helping manage project costs against internal budgets. It contributes to the preparation and negotiation of interim and final accounts. Responsibilities include measuring works, preparing variations, and agreeing these with subcontractors and clients. The role also supports monthly budget reconciliations and cost/value assessments. It helps ensure client requests are handled promptly and efficiently. What you'll need to succeed Candidates should ideally hold a Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline. The role also requires 5-10 years of Quantity Surveying experience in a similar position, demonstrating strong technical capability and proven project delivery within comparable environments. Your new role As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in the commercial management of multiple residential developments, supporting projects from early feasibility through to final account. This is a hands-on position offering full life cycle exposure, where you will: Manage project costs, budgets, and financial reporting across schemes Lead subcontractor procurement, including tendering, negotiation, and package management Oversee valuations, variations, and final accounts Provide commercial input during pre-construction and design stages Monitor contractor performance and manage commercial risk Contribute to value engineering and delivery strategy You will work closely with senior leadership, gaining valuable exposure rarely offered at this level, within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Your new role As a Senior Project Surveyor, you will play a key role within the commercial team across the full life cycle of major projects-from tender and pre-construction through to final account. You will be responsible for: Managing project cost control and financial reporting Overseeing subcontract procurement and package management Administering contracts and managing variations and change Supporting risk and opportunity management processes Leading on valuations, payments, and final accounts Providing guidance and mentoring to junior members of the team This is a hands-on role with significant responsibility on large, complex London-based schemes.
