At the end of a tenancy mediate between landlord and tenants regarding any maintenance considered to be beyond fair wear and tear and attempt to agree on a suitable amount of money that the tenants are to contribute to putting things right. Once agreed relevant funds would be deducted from the initial deposit that the tenants lodged with the company prior to moving in. Where issues are evident at the end of a tenancy, but the landlord and tenants fail to agree on a mutually acceptable compromise, the Property Inspection Clerk prepares all relevant paperwork and sends this to an independent adjudicator who will decide what if anything should be deducted from the tenants original deposit.
