BMS Support Engineer Location: Midlands Region (Field Based) Salary: Competitive + Bonus + Company Vehicle + Overtime Our client is a leading provider of Building Management System (BMS) solutions and is looking to appoint an experienced BMS Support Engineer to join their established engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys fault finding, problem solving and working closely with customers to ensure critical building systems operate efficiently and effectively. The Role As a BMS Support Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting a portfolio of customer sites across the region, carrying out planned maintenance, reactive support and system improvements. Key responsibilities include: Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on BMS installations Diagnosing and resolving faults across a variety of BMS platforms Undertaking repairs, upgrades and remedial works Responding to reactive service calls and technical issues Producing accurate service reports and technical documentation Providing customers with technical support and recommendations Ensuring systems operate efficiently and in line with customer requirements Participating in an out-of-hours support rota when required About You To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience working within the Building Controls or Building Management Systems sector and be comfortable working independently on customer sites. BellBridge Limited is currently recruiting for an experienced SIP Coordinator to support our client, Tioxide Materials Ltd , at its Greatham Site in Hartlepool. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and safety-focused professional with extensive scaffolding and contractor management experience to join a major industrial site on a long-term contract basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating and controlling Scaffolding, Insulation and Painting (SIP) activities, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and in line with operational priorities. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage all SIP activities across the site, ensuring work is planned and executed in line with business requirements. Liaise with site departments and stakeholders to identify work requirements and establish priorities. Communicate agreed priorities to SIP contractors and monitor performance against delivery targets. Ensure adequate contractor resources are available to maintain continuity of service and support maintenance and project schedules. Coordinate site visits with contractor supervisors to define work scopes, measurement requirements and job expectations prior to issuing instructions. Review resource requirements, estimated man-hours and associated costs before work commences. Conduct site surveys to verify access requirements and ensure planned work can be completed safely and efficiently. Identify hazards and risks associated with SIP activities and ensure suitable controls and mitigation measures are implemented. Provide oversight and approval of dayworks relating to SIP contracts. Monitor scaffold utilisation, inspections, hire periods and timely removal following completion of work scopes. Support planned modifications and maintenance activities whilst minimising disruption to operations and other contractors. Manage and maintain F91 reports and provide additional support for scaffolding inspections when required. Ensure all activities comply with site procedures, engineering standards, health and safety legislation and corporate requirements. Requirements The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial scaffolding coordination, supervision and contractor management within heavy industry environments such as chemical processing, petrochemical, oil and gas, manufacturing, energy, power generation or related sectors. You will possess excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple work fronts whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.
