Permanent - 37.5 Hours per week We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Estimator to join our team with Lovell's South West region based out of our Exeter office. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for leading the Pre-Construction team, working across two of the business streams, estimating contracts and projects during pre-contract/tender stage. The key duties of the role are: Being responsible for any financial, technical and contractual risks of a project measuring for take offs and producing Bill of quantities Undertaking the production of tender submission documents, taking the lead commercially, and attending pre-tender and post tender interviews with both internal management and clients. Being accountable for, and providing estimates and calculating robust cost appraisals of projects; and Supporting the bid team and tenders, and the process from start to finish Candidates will ideally hold a relevant degree, with previous experience within an estimating role. You will have a proven track record of working in this sector with a broad knowledge and exposure to mixed tenure and contracting housing. Methodical, analytical and organised, candidates will have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience of JCT D and B scenarios, house building, extra care, and apartments would be desirable, however is not essential. Reporting to the Regional Technical Director, you will coordinate designers, consultants, and specialist subcontractors to ensure all technical and planning requirements are delivered accurately, efficiently, and creatively. You will thrive in this role if you have experience in development coordination, design management, architectural technology, or a technical construction environment. Strong communication skills, organisational ability, and a passion for problem solving are essential. Key responsibilities include supporting live projects, contributing to design team and planning meetings, managing design information through Project+, reviewing specifications, coordinating design interfaces, preparing reports, and leading on utilities and planning inputs. You will also support consultant appointments, prepare presentations, audit design quality, and identify value adding solutions. Full Time, Permanent We are now seeking a post-graduate or equivalent, who is passionate about the environmental impact of residential new build housing, and driving sustainable working practices. Ideally, you will have graduated in an environmental, humanities or research-based degree subject. You may already have work experience in a similar role. Some knowledge of, and an interest in, the construction industry would definitely be advantageous. You would be employed as the Environmental & Sustainability Coordinator and will support Lovell Partnerships in achieving the Morgan Sindall Group's wider sustainability goals. The Environmental & Sustainability Coordinator will be a key member of the Operations and Pre-construction teams, assisting with operational requirements, work winning, development and the delivery of our regeneration developments throughout London and the Home Counties. The role will focus on providing both pre-construction and on-site environmental support to the delivery teams. The role will include developing and driving focused sustainability initiatives and improve environmental decision-making of our delivery teams and supply-chain partners. In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for the collation and reporting of data to meet various KPIs and deadlines. The role reports to the Construction Director and will be based at the London regional office in Farringdon, and there will be the need to travel extensively throughout London and the Home Counties to our regeneration and housing developments. This role would include: Environmental Management: managing the ISO14001 Environmental Management Systems for the business, attending audits and ensuring compliance. Site Audits: checking that sites are upholding our set environmental standards, helping to spread good practice and providing onsite training to our existing site and project managers. PQQ and Tender Support: technical copywriting in bids and tenders, as well as attending tender interviews with the site team when required. Support for Environmental Assessments: providing pre-construction and on-site support for sustainability certifications, including BREEAM, SKA, LEED and WELL. Assisting the delivery of specific training to our internal teams and subcontractors. Social Value: Organise Social Value environmentally focused events and outreach initiatives. Support in reporting Social Value achievements against KPIs. Champion Sustainability: Focus on introducing and maintaining existing sustainability initiatives within the London region. Permanent 39 Hours per week Monday to Friday Lovell is looking for a reliable and hardworking Labourer/Driver to support our growing team in Cheltenham. The role involves assisting with the delivery and collection of materials and waste from project sites, offices, and homes. You will play a key part in helping ensure our projects are completed on time and to a high standard. Your day-to-day duties will include supporting on-site operations, helping with demolition and strip-out works, and working closely with project teams and subcontractors. We are looking for a Labourer/Driver with knowledge of site administration and waste management, refurbishment and health & safety standards. Knowledge of LIMS would be beneficial.
