Carry out general maintenance, repairs and basic DIY tasks. Complete daily checks of the school buildings and grounds. Open and secure the school site as required. Monitor and report any maintenance, health and safety or security issues. Liaise with contractors and external services when required. Support with deliveries, moving furniture and setting up rooms. Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the school site and grounds. Ensure site procedures and health and safety requirements are followed. Respond promptly to any site-related issues that arise during the school day. Work closely with the school leadership and administrative team. Caretaker / Site Manager - About You The successful Caretaker / Site Manager will have: Previous experience in a caretaker, site assistant, facilities or maintenance role, desirable. Experience working within a school or similar environment, desirable. A practical, hands-on approach to maintenance and repairs. Good understanding of health and safety responsibilities.
