Salary: £30,000pa (£15.38ph)
Hours of Work: 40hrs – Mon – Fri Working Hours – 9.00am – 4.00pm
Job description
Our client is a well-known family owned and run business with a base in Stafford. They are a passive fire protection company. They specialise in the supply and installation of fire doors. Fire Barriers. Penetration sealing. Due to growth and expansion, they are recruiting for a Estimator to join their team.
Qualifications/Skills
Public Sector – must have experience dealing with public sector contracts / proposals / tenders
Background construction experience a bonus.
GCSE Grade C or above in Maths, English & Science
Full driver’s license
Good understanding of mathematics
Good understanding of methods of construction
Good people skills
Familiarity with blueprints and ability to read plans, interpret drawings and ability to scale dimensions
Familiar with CAD is desired but not essential
SMSTS desired but not essential
Responsibilities - a brief overview to include but not limited to.
Pricing up new enquires
Conducting site visits for new enquires to familiarise yourself with the project and take dimensions as required
Work on tenders and see them through from start to finish
Placing orders and general assistance to the site teams
Answering calls from clients, suppliers, and other contacts key to the company
It would be expected through training the right candidate would be capable of running some of our smaller projects should it be required

About the role
Salary £25,000 - £27,000 per annum depending on experience
Our client is opening a new branch based in Burton on the Wolds and are looking for two Sales Advisors to work in a busy sales office, responding to enquiries and phone calls to provide excellent customer service.
Responsibilities

Provide expert advice and close sales

Provide Account Management service to key customers
*
Provide high levels of technical advice and customer service
*
Undertake targeted proactive outbound calling and social selling to attract new customers.
*
Interpret and provide pricing for technical drawings and specifications.
*
Process enquiries, orders and handling after-sales support
*
Engage in additional sales activities including attending sites and trade shows
Experience, Qualifications and Skills Required

Previous experience of working in a customer service and or sales environment
*
Basic IT skills
*
Good numeracy and written skills
*
Good attention to detail
*
Good communication skills with the ability to handle difficult situations

Organisational skills and time management
