In the role you will produce reports for geotechnical investigations, writing earthwork specifications and managing engineering design associated with various types of process and civil remediation projects. Applicants should hold a relevant degree in Civil, Environmental, or Geotechnical Engineering or an associated field, and will ideally have some previous experience of site investigations within contaminated land or remediation contracting. This role will be site and office based and will require some travel when required. They are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work on a long-term residential project near Andover In this site-based role you will work as part of a project team with responsibilities for the cost reporting processes on site. Working under a Senior Surveyor, you will help to build good relationships with sub-contractors and other contacts as well as assist in the preparation of tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities. Applicants will require experience working for a developer or contractor as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor with an understanding of contracts such as JCT being beneficial but not essential. You will be supported by the senior management and work closely with the site teams, developing sound knowledge of the latest regulations, codes of practice and NHBC requirements.
