We are currently recruiting for a UK-based Assistant/Graduate Quantity Surveyor to work with our experienced commercial team at our London office,  based in West Thurrock. This is a fantastic opportunity, with excellent career prospects. Key responsibilities are: Handling, controlling, and billing of work record sheets Preparation of billing for variation work elements Responding to client queries Preparation of applications for payment and submission to the client Identifying pricing and agreeing change Sub-contract appraisals Cost reporting Preparation of detailed final accounts Essential skills The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry, with a Quantity Surveyor qualification Highly organised and motivated  Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deal professionally with people at all levels Ability to prioritise workload to ensure delivery is achieved within set timescales Computer literate, with the ability to learn new software packages quickly Plenty of initiative and an innovative approach to problem-solving
