This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and knowledgeable professional to join a respected organisation and oversee multiple projects from inception through to completion.As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing key legal and contractual documentation and processes relating to civil engineering and construction projects. You will ensure all issues are resolved promptly and effectively, while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, quality, and compliance.Key Responsibilities:Prepare tenders and commercial bids to help secure new business.Develop and present detailed project proposals.Meet with clients to establish requirements and agree budgets and timescales.Draft, review, and negotiate business contracts and terms.Oversee recruitment and vetting of operatives and junior managers.Monitor costs, produce value reports, and manage cash flow forecasts.Manage construction schedules and budgets using relevant software.Provide weekly project updates to the Managing Director and Operations Director.Address unexpected costs and delays through contractual recovery processes.Attend site meetings to monitor progress and ensure targets are met.Act as the main point of contact for clients, site teams, and junior managers.Liaise with subcontractors, technical and financial staff, and client representatives.Ensure compliance with agreed technical standards and company procedures.Oversee the final account process at project completion.Conduct regular Senior Manager Inspections.Ensure all Site Managers are trained and competent in managing health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.Seek advice from the HSEQ Manager where necessary to ensure compliance with legislation and best practice.Skills & Knowledge Required:Comprehensive understanding of the civil engineering and construction industries.Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.Advanced technical and commercial acumen.Understanding of legal documentation and contractual processes.Excellent leadership, communication, and business management skills.Strong maths, English, and IT literacy.Relevant management training or qualifications.Ability to use initiative and make sound decisions under pressure.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with fire stopping experience who is available to start immediately and is looking for consistent hours. Key Details: Immediate start available Long hours: 12-hour shifts, Monday to Friday Competitive rate: 16.50 per hour (paid via CIS) 1-hour unpaid break per shift Responsibilities: Monitor ongoing hot works to ensure site safety Identify and manage fire hazards during and after hot works Maintain high health and safety standards at all times Support the site team with additional duties as required Requirements: Proven experience in fire stopping / fire watching Valid CSCS card Own tools and PPE Strong attention to detail and ability to work to high standards Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude

DCT Recruitment is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Handyman with painting experience to join a busy student accommodation project in Salford. Role Details: Location: Salford Hours: 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday, for the remainder of this week Contract Duration: Initial placement for this week, with the possibility of extending for up to a further 3 weeks depending on performance and project needs Pay Rate: 16.50 per hour (CIS) Key Responsibilities: Carrying out general maintenance and repair tasks around the student accommodation site Painting and decorating duties are essential for this role Assisting with minor building works and upkeep Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard Reporting any issues or additional work required to the site supervisor Requirements: Proven experience working as a Handyman, with strong painting experience Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good timekeeping and reliability Own tools would be an advantage but not essential
