Liaise with clients, consultants, design teams, and the supply chain to align on project objectives and progress. Monitor project costs, margins, and resources in collaboration with quantity surveyors to maintain budgetary control. Review project designs and identify value engineering opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Prepare and manage site reports, drawings, and schedules to track progress against the targets Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring alignment with programme dates and site operations. Record and communicate site instructions, updates, and issues promptly to avoid delays or disruptions. Conduct safety inspections and uphold the highest standards of site safety, ensuring compliance with company policies and HSE regulations. Maintain quality control in line with QEMS procedures, resolving issues proactively to prevent project setbacks. Anticipate challenges, implement solutions, and support continuous improvement Build and maintain strong, effective relationships with internal teams and external partners to foster collaboration and excellence. About You; Experience working within the Construction/M&E industry is essential CSCS Managers and Professional Card Scaffold Awareness & First Aid SMSTS certified Capable of leading and motivating a team Strong leadership, excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently Prioritise effectively and contribute to ongoing development and professional standards Must be comfortable travelling to site locations as required Full UK driving license is essential

The successful candidate should be experienced, self-motivated, and will be responsible for assisting the company's clients with electrical design services. The projects generally have one to two months design periods and are varied in nature, giving the appointed engineer an ever-changing and interesting range of design duties. With a clear-cut progression pathway, this is a fantastic opportunity to take that next step up in your career. The Job You'll Do; Provide experience and assistance for the company's design projects. Establish working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, as well as the company's clients. Contribute to meetings with clients, the project team, contractors and other stakeholders. Undertake and deliver high quality detailed engineering design for electrical building services and power distribution systems, including calculations, analysis, schematics, drawings, diagrams, models, specifications, and other related documents. Projects include: LV Distribution systems, lighting and emergency lighting, small power, fire alarms and detection, security, IT and communications, lighting protection, standby power supplies, earthing and more About you; HNC or above in a relevant Engineering subject, or equivalent industry experience Good knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, regulations, guides, and all-round good practice. Knowledge and experience within the Building Services, Civil/ M&E industries Experience using the following: Amtech, BIM, Inventor, Hevacomp, AutoCAD , NBS specification writing (desirable) Able to work independently without supervision Availability and willingness to travel if and when required

The projects generally have one to two months durations and are varied in nature, giving the appointed engineer an ever-changing and interesting range of design duties. With a clear-cut progression pathway to Principal Engineer and beyond, this is a fantastic opportunity to take that next step in your career. The Job You'll Do; Provide experience and assistance for the company's design projects. Establish working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, as well as the company's clients. Contribute to meetings with clients, the project team, contractors and other stakeholders. Undertake and deliver high quality detailed engineering design for Mechanical building services, including calculations, analysis, schematics, drawings, diagrams, models, specifications, and other related documents. Projects include: Heating Systems, Domestic Hot and Cold-Water Systems, Natural Gas Systems, Ventilation Systems, Comfort Cooling and Air Conditioning System, Fire Suppression and Sprinkler Systems, Plant Room Design Act as a mentor and lead less experienced colleagues. About you; Degree qualified in a relevant Engineering subject, or equivalent industry experience 5-years relevant experience as a minimum. Good knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, regulations, guides, and all-round good practice. Extensive knowledge of the Building Services industry Able to work independently without supervision Availability and willingness to travel if and when required
