Mechanical & Electric Package Manager - Fitzrovia, London, UK Working for the Main contractor on a hotel construction project in central London. Upon joining the team you will work alongside a small team of site based colleagues reporting into the Project Manager.  We are looking for someone who builds positive working relationships with both colleagues and sub-contractors to deliver construction excellence. Roles & Responsibilities: Oversee and supervise all M&E fit out related activities on site Coordinate all site manager liaising closely with the other package managers Scheduling and tracking the work of the M&E works Read and understand all relevant drawings relating to your read of work and assess/advise on build-ability and product selection Co-ordination and supervision of installation. Creating weekly progress reports Management of all day-to-day site activities Good planning, organisational and time management skills. Supporting the construction team in all aspects of the M&E fit out Ensuring good quality technical support at all times and in all areas Attend meetings and communicate with project manager and project team members to establish and deliver on their needs. Prepare and review of specifications and drawings for M&E systems. Organise and attend regular site progress meetings with site personnel and sub-contractors to monitor progress, ensuring the project manager is always updated   Qualifications and Experience: Qualified as a Mechanical Engineer Candidates must have experienced within a package management role in a main contractor environment Minimum of 10 years’ experience working for an M&E or Main Contractor.  Preferably with hotel or hospital construction experience.  trade background or relevant work experience or engineering qualifications Fluent English

Quantity Surveyor – Central London We are searching for a reliable quantity surveyor to join our capable team of construction professionals.  You will be responsible for helping to estimate costs, quantities, and project timelines for the construction work on a new 5 star hotel in central London. You should be highly numerate, organised and have a methodical approach to your work.  High interpersonal skills are a must. Duties & Responsibilities Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements. You will need to analyse existing budgets, make improvements and prepare quantity estimates. Negotiate with various contractors and suppliers as well as building relationships with all site personnel. Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.
