Caralex Recruitment LImited has been asked to recruit a Senior Quality Assurance Manager for a construction company that has projects in Surrey and the surrounding counties. The role will entail auditing, risk reviewing, quality inspection and reporting across a broad area of both internal processes, industry standards and suppliers. It will also include training and guiding staff to work with quality control systems and to expected standards. You will be involved with the assessing and setting of internal policies, keeping updated on external standards, as well as monitoring that they are complied with throughout design and construction processes. You will have worked within the construction industry and be from a Quality Assurance / Auditing / Compliance background with strong report writing and presentation skills with a proactive attitude to source information and knowledge. As the role is for a construction company, travel between and working on projects as well as working from the head office is expected and a CSCS card will be required.

Caralex Recruitment Limited have been asked to recruit a Technical Coordinator for a well-respected housebuilder. The role will entail appointing and managing external consultants, checking their work and providing assistance to the other departments (advice to construction staff on site, information for sales brochures, details for the commercial team etc). You will have either: - worked for a housebuilder / residential developer in a Technical Coordinator position. - worked as an Architectural Technician or similar for housebuilder / residential developer, or for an architectural practice that has residential developer clients. - worked for a social housing contractor as a Design Coordinator. - worked for a civil engineering design consultancy that has residential developer clients and worked on roads, sewers and drainage design, and be familiar with Section 38 / 104 / 278 agreements.

Caralex Recruitment have been asked by a residential developer to find them a Civil Engineer to join their well-established Technical department. The role will entail appointing, overseeing and managing external civil engineering design consultants involved in various residential developments. You would be ideally a Civil Engineer with a background in design consultancy with experience in the residential sector that can assist in the production of layouts and technical reports, brief and commission site investigations as well as engineering consultants on a range of design works that includes roads, sewers, private drainage etc, alongside other responsibilities. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of section agreements such as Sections 38, 104 & 278 as well as be qualified at an HNC level or equivalent in a Civil Engineering or building-related discipline.

You will be an experienced Technical Coordinator working for a housebuilder, preferably on large scale housing projects. The successful candidate will have an architectural or civil engineering background.

They are looking to recruit a Temporary Works Design Engineer for their Kent office. Candidates will ideally have at least 2 years of good hands-on structural engineering design experience and be able to advise and guide more junior engineers, check their work and also liaise with clients to provide the information needed.
