The role will entail appointing and managing external consultants, checking their work and providing assistance to the other departments (advice to construction staff on site, information for sales brochures, details for the commercial team etc). Their developments are housing, traditional build and flatted schemes, so would benefit someone who has prior experience on both housing and flatted developments. You will be an experienced Technical Coordinator working within the residential development industry, or a Design Coordinator working for a new build contractor that builds large residential projects for clients such as housing associations. You will have an architectural or civil engineering background, and have experience of working on a range of new build residential projects.

Caralex Recruitment LImited has been asked to recruit a Quality Assurance Manager for a construction company that has projects in Buckinghamshire and the surrounding counties. The role will entail auditing, risk reviewing, quality inspection and reporting across a broad area of both internal processes and suppliers. You will be from a Quality Assurance / Auditing / Compliance background with strong report writing and presentation skills. As the role is for a construction company, travel between and working on projects as well as working from the head office is expected.

Caralex Recruitment have been asked by a residential developer to find them a Civil Engineer to join their well-established Technical department. The role will entail appointing, overseeing and managing external civil engineering design consultants involved in various residential developments. You would be ideally a Civil Engineer with a background in design consultancy with experience in the residential sector that can assist in the production of layouts and technical reports, brief and commission site investigations as well as engineering consultants on a range of design works that includes roads, sewers, private drainage etc, alongside other responsibilities. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of section agreements such as Sections 38, 104 & 278 as well as be qualified at an HNC level or equivalent in a Civil Engineering or building-related discipline.

They are looking to recruit a Temporary Works Design Engineer for their Kent office. Candidates will ideally have at least 2 years of good hands-on structural engineering design experience and be able to advise and guide more junior engineers, check their work and also liaise with clients to provide the information needed.
