You will be working on a range of construction projects including, refurbishments, extensions, listed building renovations, barn conversions, and more. You will be responsible for supervising construction sites and coordinating trades to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard. The role will entail: Supervising day-to-day site activities and coordinating subcontractors and site teams. Carrying out site inspections, monitoring quality, and ensuring work is completed in line with drawings. Ordering materials and ensuring labour, plant, and equipment are available when required. Ensuring health and safety procedures, safety plans, and method statements are followed on site. Maintaining site records and ensuring work areas are kept safe and organised. Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure projects run smoothly. The ideal candidate will have previous site supervision experience and have good knowledge of current building regulations.

The role will entail measuring, taking off and producing bills of quantities. As many of the projects are refurbs, measuring may take place at a client meeting at a project without drawings, or be done from plans at the office. It will also entail seeking out quotes from subcontractors, material suppliers, consultants etc, and building and maintaining a library of costs for future reference. The role will continue through the construction process and oversee valuations and variations. Candidates will need to have previously worked in an estimating or quantity surveying role for a construction company, and able to travel across the Wiltshire and Berkshire area.
