You will be working on a range of construction projects including, refurbishments, extensions, listed building renovations, barn conversions, and more. You will be responsible for supervising construction sites and coordinating trades to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard. The role will entail: Supervising day-to-day site activities and coordinating subcontractors and site teams. Carrying out site inspections, monitoring quality, and ensuring work is completed in line with drawings. Ordering materials and ensuring labour, plant, and equipment are available when required. Ensuring health and safety procedures, safety plans, and method statements are followed on site. Maintaining site records and ensuring work areas are kept safe and organised. Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure projects run smoothly. The ideal candidate will have previous site supervision experience and have good knowledge of current building regulations.

Caralex Recruitment are working with a construction company in Wiltshire to help them find an Estimator. You will be working on a range of construction projects covering Wiltshire and Berkshire, including refurbishments, extensions, listed building renovations, barn conversions, and more. The role will entail measuring, taking off and producing bills of quantities. As many of the projects are refurbs, measuring may take place at a client meeting at a project without drawings, or be done from plans at the office. It will also entail seeking out quotes from subcontractors, material suppliers, consultants etc, and building and maintaining a library of costs for future reference. The role will continue through the construction process and oversee valuations and variations. Candidates will need to have previously worked in an estimating or quantity surveying role for a construction company, and able to travel across the Wiltshire and Berkshire area.

You will be working on a range of construction projects across Wiltshire and Berkshire, including refurbishments, extensions, listed building renovations, barn conversions, and more. The successful candidate will be carrying out both 1st and 2nd fix carpentry works to a high standard. Applicants should have previous carpentry experience, be able to work from drawings, have good attention to detail, and be able to work effectively as part of a site team. The role will entail researching cost effective building materials and liaising with their suppliers, ordering the correct quality and quantity to arrive on site at the right time. You will also work with the Site Managers to develop a good working relationship with them so there can be sensible adjustments with materials and timings for the good of the business. You will have worked as a Buyer for a housebuilder or for a contractor on residential projects and familiar with take-offs, budgets and schedules.

Caralex Recruitment LImited has been asked to recruit a Quality Assurance Manager for a construction company that has projects in Buckinghamshire and the surrounding counties. The role will entail auditing, risk reviewing, quality inspection and reporting across a broad area of both internal processes and suppliers. You will be from a Quality Assurance / Auditing / Compliance background with strong report writing and presentation skills. As the role is for a construction company, travel between and working on projects as well as working from the head office is expected.
