Senior Structural Engineer The Role- My client are seeking a Structural Engineer (preferably someone who is either chartered or working towards chartership CEng MIStructE or MICE). You will be designing and managing projects from £350k-£45m in value from conception to completion, across Europe and Australia, and will be required to get involved in all aspects of the project delivery. You will be supported by other senior engineers and directors to develop your career. About you Essential- You will have experience designing in all materials to Eurocodes and be familiar with designing to NHBC guidelines and Building regulations. You will be proficient in using Tekla Structural Designer and have a demonstrable experience infoundation design, steel design, reinforced concrete design and detailing. You will have undertaken structural surveys of a variety of structures and produced written reports to present your findings. You will be experienced in liaising with clients, architects and other professionals You will have managed junior members of staff at project level. You will be proficient in using AutoCAD. Most importantly you will have an enthusiasm and dynamism for engineering and be able to effectively convey this to clients and colleagues. Preferable- You are proficient in Revit 2015. You have experience in precast concrete design and detailing. Structural Technician About you: Essential- You will have a minimum of 3yrs experience working with AutoCAD / Revit Structures, Tekla Steel or Tekla Precast. Produce general arrangement drawings, sections, elevations, details and schedules. You will be able to demonstrate your understanding of the design process from conception through to construction You will be confident in liaising with engineers, architects and clients directly You will be confident in planning your own work and working to deadlines.Preferable- RC Detailing Experience Precast Detailing experience Experience in Tekla Structures or Tekla Precast Able to model in the 3D BIM environment via workflow with models from architects and other consultants. Membership of professional body (TIStuctE or equivalent)The Role: You will be working alongside structural engineers and other Tekla, Revit & Cad Technicians producing a full range of structural drawing for Insitu Concrete, and Precast Concrete which will include but not be limited to detailed general arrangement drawings, sections, elevations, details, RC drawings and Schedules. You will be working on projects across the Commercial, Residential, Custodial and Education sectors with project values ranging from £3m to £55m across Europe and Australia.
