You are expected to work on various sites around the East Anglia area representing Parker Technical Services and working to a high standard, you will be required to work on sites including MOD, local government, education being a skilled and experienced Pipefitter completing work to a high standard is expected whilst adhering to all Health & Safety requirements
We value everyone’s skills and experiences but for this role are looking for people who:
* Are qualified to NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Pipe Fitting & Fabrication
* Are able to read and interpret Mechanical & Electrical drawings
* Can install and assemble steel work, pipe work, pumps, valve pipeline ancillaries
* Are self-motivated and a team player with a focus on high quality and standards
* Trained in oxy propane cutting burning and braising is desirable not essential
* Knowledge in pipe schedules, flange types, gasket types, bolt tensile identification etc essential
* Must be able to work under own initiative this role will also involve some diagnostics and repair when necessary
* Have a right first time philosophy
