Purpose of Role: To contribute to the effectiveness of the Company in achieving its aims and objectives through specialist building expertise and advice. Task to be undertaken in the role are; Carpentry and various General Building works Engineers will be required to be dedicated, resourceful and willing to work on multiple sites in a maintenance capacity in the areas shown below and further. Key Responsibilities: Primary Subject Matter Expert on specific qualified trade (carpenter) * React to maintenance tasks throughout London and South East and further * Maintenance works, covering clientele base (retail and government). Fault finding and providing solution where necessary * Undertake maintenance works and ensure they meet KPS high standards * Undertake PPM’s * Ensure 1st time fix occurs 80% of all jobs * Responsible for the correct procurement of materials for works to be carried out. * Liaise with clients to ensure their satisfaction with works carried out * To carry out risk assessments on site on a regular basis * To ensure that all works are carried out under the Health & Safety guidelines in conjunction with Health & Safety Requirements * Provide work reports with detailed scopes of works * Provide technical expertise to allow quotes to be produced on time * Assist in the on-call rota system Requirements & Qualifications Essential * Clean driving licence * CSCS card * NVQ level 2 in Carpentry as core trade * Time served minimum 3 years * Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure * Fluent English Speaking * Excellent written and oral communication skills * Excellent customer communication skills * Own Tools Desirable * Good working knowledge of other trades listed below: * Plumbing * Tiling * Roofing * Fencing

We currently have a permanent opportunity for a Building Services HVAC Project Manager. Working with a well established M&E Contractor, who have secured many projects cover the next 2 years. The Mechanical Project Manager must have experience of working in the commercial (office) "fit out" sector . You will be experienced in managing sub-contractors, liaising with clients, so have good communications skills and a get the job done attitude. Ideally qualified within HVAC (Mechanical). This company have many long standing staff and like to develop and promote from within. So great career prospects on offer.
