Building Safety Manager Location : London (Hybrid) A large London-based Housing Association is seeking an experienced Building Safety Manager to oversee safety compliance across a portfolio of high-rise residential buildings. This is a key role responsible for managing Building Safety Cases, securing Building Assessment Certificates, and ensuring full compliance with the Building Safety Act. You will act as a subject matter expert, providing assurance to both the Regulator and residents that buildings are safe and well managed. Key Responsibilities: Manage high-rise buildings in line with approved Building Safety Cases Prepare and submit Safety Case reports to the Building Safety Regulator Conduct regular building audits and risk assessments Oversee Mandatory Occurrence Reporting (MOR) requirements Collaborate with accountable persons, contractors and internal teams Act as technical lead on fire safety, structural safety and regulatory compliance Requirements: Technical qualification in a building, construction or building safety discipline Strong understanding of fire strategies, structural safety and building control Experience conducting audits and risk assessments within residential buildings Ability to interpret technical drawings and reports Confident stakeholder engagement skills Level 6 Diploma in Building Safety Management (or willingness to work towards) Fire safety qualifications (NEBOSH Fire, IFE membership, Level 4+ FRA) or structural engineering membership are highly desirable. Building Safety Manager Salary: Up to 62,000 Full-time (37 hours) Hybrid/Flexible Working Burman are seeking an experienced Building Safety Manager to lead building safety compliance across a portfolio of high-risk residential buildings. This is a senior role with accountability for meeting statutory obligations under the Building Safety Act, Fire Safety legislation, and engagement with the Building Safety Regulator.
