The role is heavily a/c based, which is mainly Daikin, and the candidate will need to have an F-Gas qualification. Our client are looking for a dynamic, driven, self-motivated engineer who is very professional and extremely client facing. The candidate will work independently or in a team - 1 other on site engineer.
The A/C Engineer is responsible for:
* Complete PPM to HVAC equipment within our contracts, FCU’S, AHU’S, Pumps, Motors, Lighting & Emergency Lighting.
* Complete PPM tasks, basic plumbing tasks; ball valves and toilet systems, basic electrical tasks; ballasts, batteries and L8 water hygiene tasks.
* Ensure that sub-contractors used on your sites are carrying out work in accordance with company instructions.
* Ensure all reports are completed and submitted as required.
* Ensuring all site feedback and internal CAFM systems are up to date.
* Completing Weekly timesheets.
Ideal Candidates will have:

Main responsibilities of The Gas Engineer
* To undertake heating engineering & plumbing duties including reactive repairs, servicing of boilers and other appliances, installations and associated works.
* To undertake the installation of new domestic heating systems in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions, industry best practice codes, practice, and legislation.
* To issue notices and certificates required by the relevant regulations relating to gas safety.
* To adhere to manufacturer’s instructions when servicing, repairing or installing appliances.
* To provide information to allow records to be updated following service and testing and update Gas Safety records using electronic or manual documentation.
* To acquire quotes for stock from authorised suppliers, materials required to undertake works through the approved order system
* To take part in the on call system to provide 24/7 emergency cover across our property portfolio.

Red Rock are working with a well-established building servicing company who are looking to employee a Mechanical Project Manager to join their team in Leicester.
Within this role, you will be overseeing the installation of mechanical services by sub-contractors. This will include all HVAC systems, new mains pipework, pressurisation systems, control valves, cooling pipework, hydraulics and drainage. Your role will require you to be working on projects ranging in value from £800K to £5 Million across a number of different sectors but largely for Residential / Student Multi-room Builds & Large Commercial Distribution Centre sites. You will be involved in client meetings, tender adjudications, tender submittal, post tender review and assisting colleagues with technical enquiries
The right candidate
To be considered for this role, you need to have excellent client liaison skills and a keen eye for detail. Someone with commercial and industrial experience, with a demonstrable history of working within the Mechanical Building Services sector. Someone who is used to working on multiple projects at the same time with values ranging from £1 Million upwards
