They are looking for a Senior Engineer with strong groundworks, utilities and enabling works experience for a large project in the North London area. Responsibilities: * Overseeing setting out on utilities diversions, piling, basement construction and earthworks * Working with the Project Manager to implement designs and deal with issues on site as they arise * Overseeing setting out engineers working on various sections of the project and administering work to them daily * Checking all work done by these engineers to make sure it is in accordance with plans * Updating the Project Manager and stakeholders on all engineering aspects of the project Experience/Qualifications: * Degree in Civil engineering or related discipline * Strong design and setting out experience * Experience with large earthworks or enabling works projects * Strong organisational skills * Good interpersonal skills for managing setting out engineers and working with the client Excellent long term project (3 years+) for a candidate with a strong engineering pedigree. Client is flexible on salary/day rate as well for the right candidate

Our client is a large civil engineering contractor working on projects across London and the Home Counties. Their expertise extends to groundworks, enabling works, remediation and RC Frame projects for the build and rail sectors. They are currently looking for a Project Manager with strong groundworks and civil engineering background for a long term position in the North London area. Responsibilities: * Overseeing the groundworks and enabling works of this large scale project * Ensure the redirection of utilities across the project * Oversee the piling and construction of a large scale basement * Oversee earthworks and soft landscaping on the site * Report to the Contracts Manager/Project Director on all issues and events on site * Ensure compliance with company health and safety policies * Review and troubleshoot any design issues that may arise * Delegate work to managers and supervisors across the site as different teams will be working on different projects * Ensure the project is delivered in line with the agreed program Experience/qualifications: * Degree in Civil Engineering * At least 4 years of project management experience * Strong groundworks and enabling works experience * Strong organisational skills * Good client facing skills This is an excellent opportunity on this long-term project (3 years minimum). Our client is a strong and multidisciplinary subcontractor working on many projects across the London and Home Counties area. They are looking for an RC Foreman to deliver a £1m frame project in the Beckenham area of Southeast London. Responsibilities: * Overseeing groundworks and RC build on this project * Being responsible for site program and scheduling * Ordering of materials and organization of labour on site * Reporting to the Contracts Manager on any site issues and reports * Dealing with the main contractor and sitting in on meetings between them and your employer * Overseeing health and safety on site and making sure that work is carried out in a safe and secure manner * Keeping a site diary and flagging any issues with the relevant parties whether they be the client or the designers * Managing the site teams responsible for the formwork Experience/qualifications: * SMSTS/SSSTS * Experience working with formwork and RC projects * Groundworks experience * Ability to manage a project team on small frame projects Excellent opportunity with a company that are growing their brand in the London area
