Working with their friendly team, you will oversee high-end projects across London. Ideally you will have a minimum of 3 years experience managing residential building projects (home extensions & renovations, not new builds) and a Design & Build background would be ideal. What they are looking for: They are seeking a motivated, strong communicator to work as a Project Manager. You will liaise with Clients, Contractors, Trades and all the other key Stakeholders for the purposes overseeing and managing residential building projects across London. As an early starter, you must demonstrate a passion and commitment to your career whilst having the necessary experience and attributes to succeed in the role. You will drive from site to site, making an office out of your comfortable company car (Audi A1), completing any necessary admin at home where required. I am working with a Civil Engineering Contractor who are helping to deliver a battery storage plant in Grendon. They are looking for a Groundworks Supervisor with a minimum of SSSTS and ideally a machine or dumber ticket to be based on site. The role will involve overseeing groundworkers and machine operators but they are looking for someone who is willing to help on site as well as and when required. The role will involve working on a wide range of projects including schools, universities, offices, hospitals and care homes. If successful, you will be responsible for the delivery of contracts from £5K to £100,000 which will range from 1-8 weeks. Due to the nature of the work, you will be expected to run multiple job simultaneous building strong working relationships with clients, their trades team and sub-contractors. You will be managing the inhouse labour and sub-contractors and the procurement and management of budgets. To be considered you will ideally be from a trades background with experience of working as a contracts manager or a site manager looking for a new opportunity. They are looking to recruit an experienced contracts manager who will be responsible for multiple contracts simultaneously, typically valuing up to around £2.5m plus. You will be responsible for coordinating management teams, directly employed operatives, trades, materials, plant etc to ensure each contract is delivered safely and in a timely fashion to high standards.
