As Assystem’s Defence business grows, we are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The post will be based from our clients site in Glasgow but will require regular travel to client and / or other Assystem sites. Job title: Quantity Surveyor Location: Glasgow Hours: 37 hours Sector: Nuclear and Defence Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Monitoring and challenging of Contractor submissions including: * Payment applications covering materials, equipment and progress valuations. * Compensation Events * Assisting Planner and PM with progress reporting and monitoring. Profile What we are looking for in our Quantity Surveyors : * An experienced Quantity Surveyor with a proven construction / refurbishment background * You will have sound working knowledge of construction and contract law and various forms of contracts including NEC4 **Security clearance** This role requires the successful candidate to hold a minimum of a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Due to the nature of work this role will be delivering and for the protection of certain assets, the successful candidate has to be a UK national
