ACS believes in investing in the training and development of talented individuals to expand our growing Team. We are looking for Business Development Managers to join our Sales team. Please note this is an office-based role working from our Head Office in Leeds (LS9). The role: * You will be responsible for your own portfolio of clients, allocated by sector or georgraphical location. * You will be responsible for growing your business accounts and hitting monthly targets set by the Company. * To engage in at least twenty-five outbound telephone fact-finding conversations per day with zero spends or prospects. * To engage in at least twenty-five outbound telephone fact-finding conversations per day with DMU’s and DMI’s within your spending customer base. * To identify and offer add-ons and complementary products to those enquired for. * To load all enquiries onto the system and ensure they are quoted within the company’s documented timeframes. Where the order is a complex multiple delivery order that requires scheduling, you will be responsible for conducting a clear handover to the relevant Project Manager who will then take responsibility for the project. We have an exciting opportunity for a Structural Engineer to join us at our head office in Leeds (LS9). Our Structural Engineers will maintain and develop the ACS range of calculations. They will also support the technical department in developing non-standard solutions (FEA & hand calcs) and provide high level technical advice to external customers. Job Description: * Manage and develop ACS technical calculation suite to ensure it meets current standards and fits the needs of the technical department. * Improve functionality of suite to enable calculation of new products or extended ranges of products. * Provide engineering assistance to the technical department via the team leads for situations above and beyond the standard calculation limits. * Complete calculations (hand or FEA) for bespoke site scenarios, ensuring that solution is designed to necessary standards. * Considering ACS manufacturing methodology and customer requirements to ensure that product is value engineered, easy to manufacture, and easy to fit on site. * Where required, provide engineering assistance to external customers to alleviate any site issues or to support in bespoke scenarios. The ideal candidate: * Degree qualified in structural engineering is desirable * A good knowledge of engineering principles and construction methods with a particular focus on Eurocode 3 preferred * Minimum 2 years experience within the construction sector * Knowledge of manufacturing processes would be beneficial * Previous experience of FEA is preferred Whats in it for you? * Monday - Friday 8am-5pm (with 1 hour lunch) * 23 days holiday + Bank Holidays increasing to 25 days with service * Healthcare Plan after 12 months service (dental, medical and physio cover) * On-site Gym * Modern Facilities * Great Transport Links * Continual Development

Project Co-Ordinator Responsibility for ensuring that projects are promptly and accurately set up in technical, whereby a realistic delivery schedule is created, and the delivery is updated and communicated throughout the project life cycle. Responsibility for the scheduling of future workload in line with team capacity, customer needs, in agreement with Project Managers & resource planning, whilst ensuring enough flexibility to deal with the additional, unplanned tasks, that, are pushed through daily. The Job role includes, but is not limited to: - Project Set up * Facilitate and lead handovers with Project Managers. * Check handovers from Spec/Sales to ensure all / enough critical information is available, in-order to start & schedule Project work. * Request relevant information from customers and chase where necessary if it’s not available. * Schedule the relevant tasks in line with future workload & customer delivery schedules. * Issue Master Build Schedules. Project Scheduling * To ensure every project has an agreed, achievable delivery schedule both in line with customer requirements and internal resources, and make sure this is tracked & updated on a weekly basis in agreement with the Project Manager. * Be aware of drawing remakes, calc reviews which arise & liaise with technical & Project Managers to schedule these accordingly. * To ensure future workload is adjusted to meet immediate requirements for figures, re-makes/re-works that take priority throughout the working week. Project KPIs * To monitor & assess weekly project specific and portfolio KPI’s. * Identify during daily 4 box meetings, projects performing poorly and/or trending in the wrong direction. * Monitor Drawings Out for Approval / Comments & ensure prompt return from clients. Reporting * To produce up to date reports that predict future workload and how this compares to the capacity we have in any given week, and to schedule projects in line with this.
