Planner– Overview
Creating, maintaining and reviewing a construction or pre construction programme for both tender and live projects.

My client is a reputable developer, who focus on breathing life into some of the most exceptional buildings in London City Centre. They are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team for a project in East London.
Quantity Surveyor– Overview
* Assist in establishing a client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies to ensure their proposals will work
* Prepare and analyse project costings for tenders, such as materials, quantities, labour and time
* Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client
* Negotiate contracts and work schedules
* Allocate work to subcontractors and oversee their work at all stages of the construction
* Perform risk, value management and cost control during construction
* Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work
* Advise on a procurement strategy
* Identify, analyse and develop responses to commercial risks
* Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes
* Analyse outcomes and write detailed progress reports
* Value completed work, oversee bills and arrange payments
* Maintain awareness of the different building contracts in current use
* Understand the implications of health and safety regulations.
* Offer advice on property taxation
* Provide post-occupancy advice, facilities management services and life cycle costing advice
* Assist clients in locating and accessing additional and alternative sources of funding
* Enable clients to initiate construction projects
* Advise on the maintenance costs of specific buildings.
Quantity Surveyor- Requirements
The ideal Quantity Surveyor MUST hold a Quantity Surveying Degree and have experience in variety of tenders, high spec development projects and have worked on projects up to £4,000,000.
The Quantity Surveyor will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor and have contactable references. You will need to have an excellent understanding of managing budgets for large construction projects and have extensive client relationship management abilities.

Salary: Circa £55k- £70k plus excellent benefits
My client is a reputable contractor who provide professional construction management services to it’s clients in the property sector. They specialise in high rise residential schemes and are looking for a Design Manager to join their growing team.
Design Manager– Overview
* Ensure that information release accords with agreed IRS.
* Develop suppliers and sub- contractors design/ specs with the design team ensuring that the full ER and statutory compliance is met.
* Check and co-ordinate drawings to ensure they comply with the ER’s and standards.
* Ensure the issued information is to the correct standard and fully details within ‘For Construction Status’
* Be actively involved with the sampling process.
* Production and collation of the O & M manuals Ensure that information release accords with agreed IR35.
* Oversee document control with regards to registration and distribution of design and technical information.
* Liaison with key personnel within the project team in preparation of project costing and design works.
* Monitor all production information and consult activities againts budgetary allowances and report any variances.
* Coordinate with suppliers to obtain approval to material submittals.
* Set a good example at all times.
Design Manager- Requirements
The ideal candidate MUST be motivated, proactive and a confident individual with lots of energy and drive. You will ideally have:
* Experience using Citrix
* 3- 5 years working on high rise apartment schemes
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Great communication skills
