Strong knowledge of development funding, Scottish Government grant procedures and relevant legislation. Experience managing budgets, procurement, financial appraisals and programme risks. A proven track record of delivering projects against financial, quality and programme targets. Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills. A relevant degree or equivalent experience is essential. A professional qualification such as CIH, RICS, RIAS or CIOB would be advantageous. The details of the job are below: Facilities Officer Hours: 37.5 hours 08:30am to 16:30pm Mon to Fri Salary from: £39,800k to 43k per year Location: Surrey. Suitable candidates must have full clean driving licence and access to vehicle will cover two homes in Surrey. Also must be able to carry minor repairs, maintenance works and caretaking duties where appropriate. Purpose of role: To support the Property & Estates Manager (PEM) in the day-to-day operation and management of its houses and the wider houses Investment Property Portfolio ensuring that the houses and facilities are safe, compliant and well maintained. Job Role Support residents to live independently by enabling them to make full use of charities amenities, including operating the fire detection systems and the Entry Phone System Carry out routine inspections of the homes including the plant room, equipment and external grounds, identifying maintenance requirements, defects and health and safety risks Carry out minor repairs, maintenance works and caretaking duties where appropriate.
