Estimator Hertfordshire Up to £100,000 + Package + Bonus Our client, a prestigious 5-star housebuilder , is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their commercial team in Hertfordshire. The Role This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Estimator from a housebuilding or residential contracting background to take ownership of cost planning and estimating across a strong pipeline of new build housing schemes. Working closely with the Commercial Manager, Land, and Technical teams, you ll prepare accurate cost plans and tenders from land appraisal through to project completion. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for housing and groundworks packages Assess drawings, specifications, and site information to produce take-offs Source and negotiate competitive supplier and subcontractor quotations Support land viability assessments and feasibility studies Maintain and update cost databases to reflect current market trends Provide reliable cost advice during design and pre-construction phases The Ideal Candidate Proven experience as an Estimator within housebuilding Good understanding of groundworks and infrastructure costs Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills Confident using estimating software and MS Excel Self-motivated and able to work effectively as part of a collaborative team What s on Offer Salary up to £100,000 (dependent on experience) Attractive package and performance bonus Opportunity to join a leading 5-star housebuilder with clear career progression Supportive working environment and long-term stability
