Job Title: Building Services Maintenance Manager Location: Kettering Reporting to: Technical Account Manager Responsible for: Managing Building Services Engineers General Purpose of Role: The Building Services Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the team to deliver Building Services to the client. You will be required to manage all planned and reactive and small project day to day works through their on-site engineering team. Ensure that H&S is not compromised and that RAMS are in place for works carried out on site. That all SLA' and KPI's are met or exceeded. Liaise daily with client's business units and work collaboratively with client's staff and other service providers as required PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES Daily management of all required work programmes in line with service level agreements (SLA's) and key performance indicators (KPI's). Ensure H&S systems are adhered to by the delivery team and that RAMS are in place and that T card observations are reported as per the KPI's. Achieve high standards of H&S and develop safety culture in the business. Build and maintain effective and positive working relationships with the client's business unit across the site(s). Drive performance improvements in customer service, operational services, and productivity, through the effective management, training, and development of the team. Reinforce ways to ensure competitive advantage through encouraging the delivery of value-add projects to the client. Development of staff to ensure maximum productivity and delivery of services to the client that complies with SLA's and KPI's. OPERATIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Provide leadership to all direct reports to ensure that quality standards continue to improve. Management and control of resources to deliver Building services to the client. Ensure that the Health and Safety objectives are implemented consistently throughout the business; promote a corporate approach and lead by example. To ensure that all agreed KPI targets are met and that sufficient resource is in place to deliver. Ensure that all jobs are completed, and that the relevant systems are updated accurately and on time. To analyse stats regularly and forecast any areas of potentially poor performance and ensure corrective action plans are put in place and delivered. To provide positive support to the team on site. To actively look for ways in which the service could be improved KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Specific Qualifications Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Building Services qualification Industry training qualifications Experience A proven track record within a management role in Building Services. Management or supervision experience in client facing, fast moving manufacturing environments. Project management experience. Able to identify and implement innovative and effective business improvements within the area your team delivers. Knowledge Technically Competent People management and understanding of systems and processes Customer Service skills Work Collaboratively with the client and other service providers Effective P&L management, delivering profitability Skills Competence Committed to delivering the highest levels of health and safety Excellent communication skills, ability to influence and use diplomacy with clients and colleagues Actively drive team targets Numerate FACTORS: This key Management position is suited to a self-motivated, forward thinking, and strong team player, enthusiastic about, and committed to, delivering the best for the client Full UK Driving Licence is essential

Contract Manager - M & E - £52k - £57k Our client is a National Building Services Facilities provider. They have an excellent reputation within the region, they are currently looking to recruit a Contract Manager (M & E Maintenance) to work with them covering their Client Portfolio in the South East Regions. This is a mobile role, where you will be the Contract Manager working with several engineers & M & E sub-Contractors carrying out Planned, Preventative & Reactive Maintenance Schedules, across the portfolio, liaising with the Client direct on sites as the first point of contact along with planning workloads, Health & Safety compliance & Inductions, ensuring that contract Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are achieved. You will need to provide technical and practical support to engineers, Carry out site visits as required, Quoting works, Budget & P&L responsibilities, Check documentation / paperwork, Ongoing site monitoring of H&S compliance, Required to produce RAMS (risk & method statements) good practical / organisational skills, with the ability to follow technical instructions and an understanding of safe working practices. Educated to City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in an M&E discipline, with a minimum of 3 year's knowledge and experience in a similar role, Recognised Health & Safety training, Good practical and working knowledge of commercial heating / hot water systems, Proven track record delivering high levels of customer satisfaction. Good written and verbal communication skills together with strong problem-solving abilities as you will have regular client contact. If you have a current CRB/DBS certificate this will be hugely advantageous. Our client is a well-known Building Services company who are looking to recruit a Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to cover the Ipswich region. You will work in commercial buildings & premises maintaining & servicing boilers, heating systems & mechanical systems on site. Daily Responsibilities will include: Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive duties on all commercial gas and associated HVAC plant & equipment. Minor installation works on gas and associated heating / mechanical equipment. Servicing heating systems & boiler systems Fault finding & rectification on heating, boiler & mechanical systems Attending breakdown, repairs & emergency situations Ensure highest health & safety standards are always adopted Essential Requirements: Commercial Gas qualifications required to include CORT1, COCN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, TPCP1A, Knowledge and Experience in a similar role servicing & maintaining boilers & heating systems Client facing with good communication & interpersonal skills The working hours are Monday to Friday 40 hours per week, call out rota 1 in 6 to 1 in 8 with retainer. You will need to have a positive attitude towards your work responsibilities & adopt flexible working methods in order to meet the needs of the role. It is necessary that you have strong problem-solving abilities as you will encounter a wide range of challenges & expectations during your daily duties.
