Principal Surveyor Tower Hamlets Full-time contract 2-Month contract £160+/Day To carry out site inspections to establish cladding on high rise building and review fire statement/fire strategies to determine whether cladding of concern exists on the existing properties. Responsibilities: Contribute towards a high quality specialised building control service and to assist in providing the effective management of the day-to-day functions. Make recommendations for the determination of building regulation applications. Inspect building and construction work at all relevant stages. Make legally binding on-site decisions regarding the compliance of completed work. Carry a full caseload and manage a number of major complex proposals. Undertake negotiations with developers. Ensure that public safety is preserved by responding on a 24 hour basis to reports of alleged dangerous structures. Qualifications: Qualified to the standard accepted for corporate membership of the RICS or ABE or significant proven Building Control Experience. Civil Estimator required in North Lincolnshire on a permanent. As an Estimator you will be working for a leading civil engineering company, you will be heading up the civil estimating department and be instrumental in the winning of work from key clients and principal contractors working. Your duties as an Estimator will be primarily be leading and coordinating all aspects of selected tenders, ensuring high quality and competitive proposals. Your key elements will be: Review tender documents and submission requirements, ensuring we evaluate all relevant information in the bid process. Liaison with the design, and other departments, to ensure that innovative, and most appropriate, solutions are produced. Ensuring that all identified risks are mitigated. Liaison with the Business Manager, and the construction teams, to ensure correct resources, productions are employed to deliver the projects. Preparations of cost plans, risk assessments, and risk mitigation's, in line with procedures. Preparation and submission of pricing documents and tender proposal in line with our client's requirements.
