Experienced Welder Required Coventry Area We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced welder to join a long-term contract project based in the Coventry area. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable professional looking for stable, full-time work on a well-structured project. Job Overview The successful candidate will be involved in structural and fabrication welding work, working with a variety of material thicknesses. The role requires a high level of technical competence, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in demanding environments. Contract Details Pay Rate: up to £17.00ph (DOE) Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 10-hour shifts Contract Duration: Approximately 6 8 months Start Date: 3rd February 2026 Location: Coventry area Key Responsibilities Carrying out high-quality welding work on materials ranging from 4 6mm, with occasional work up to 10mm thickness Performing overhead and vertical welding to a consistent and safe standard Adhering strictly to site health and safety regulations Assisting with initial demolition works during the first few days of the project Working effectively as part of a team while maintaining productivity and quality standards Essential Requirements A minimum of 2 years proven experience as a welder Demonstrated ability to weld in overhead and vertical positions Experience working with medium-gauge materials (up to 10mm) Valid Safety Passport Strong understanding of safe working practices on industrial or construction sites Desirable Use of an air-fed welding mask (preferred but not essential) Additional Information This role offers consistent hours and long-term security for the right candidate. Job Title: Facilities Operative / Caretaker Location: College Campus Hours: 36 hours per week, Monday Friday (shift rotation) Contract: Permanent DBS: Enhanced DBS required (essential) Role Purpose The Facilities Operative / Caretaker will support the safe, clean, and effective operation of the college site. The role involves carrying out routine caretaking, porterage, and grounds duties to ensure a well-maintained environment for students, staff, and visitors. Key Duties and Responsibilities Carry out minor repairs and basic maintenance tasks across the college site. Undertake porterage duties , including the movement of furniture, equipment, and resources. Maintain the external areas of the college , including cleaning and upkeep of the grounds. Carry out snow and ice clearance , including gritting external pathways and access routes as required. Remove refuse and waste from internal and external areas in line with site procedures. Provide manual handling support for college activities such as open days, examinations, and events, including setting up and clearing furniture and equipment. Use the college helpdesk system to receive and update job requests. Carry out any other duties of a similar level of responsibility as required. Please note: this role does not include key holding responsibilities. Fire Risk Assessor - 12-Week Contract (Potential Extension) Oxford £25.19 per hour Full Time (37.5 hrs, on-site) We're looking for an experienced Fire Risk Assessor to support the rollout of a new fire risk assessment programme across a diverse estate, including heritage buildings, laboratories, teaching spaces and residential accommodation. This role involves conducting fire strategies, assessing fire precautions, and providing expert guidance to ensure full compliance with legislation and best practice.
