Repairs Supervisor for a housing provider in Burton, reporting to the Repairs Manager. Duties will include; To be responsible for the delivery of an efficient and effective, customer focused value for money responsive repairs service in both occupied and vacant properties. To be responsible for site supervision of work in progress and liaison with all trade operatives, sub contractors and customers for the effective delivery of the works. To be responsible for all aspects of maintenance works to housing stock. To provide day to day supervision and performance management of the workforce including regular onsite assessments and toolbox talks in all matters relating to the service to ensure that the correct works are carried out to the correct standard. Manage, support and motivate the operatives in your team and ensure they are recruited, trained, managed, appraised and developed effectively in accordance with Trent & Doves policies and procedures. Ensure that operatives in the team are able to achieve maximum efficiency and effectiveness by planning and scheduling the work taking action to address any imbalance. To act as a mentor to apprentices and trainees providing support and assistance in completing NVQ portfolio s and attending progress meetings at the college as required.

I am currently recruiting for a EPC Assessor for a housing association in Birmingham. This is a contract position available for three months. 37 hours per week. Undertaking Domestic Energy Assessments / EPCs. Assessing the condition of building components and identifying required repairs/replacement. Recording survey information accurately for the association's asset/property database. Supporting planned maintenance and investment programmes. Identifying energy-efficiency improvements. Working with internal teams and contractors. Travelling to properties across the association's geographical area.

This is a contract role for three months, 2 days based in the office 3 days home working. The duties will include. Developing asset strategy for 5-, 10-and 30-year investment programmes. Knowledge of planned investment. Decent homes 2 and lifecycle maintenance. Experience with Microsoft Excel, asset software ideally Total Mobile. Working in partnership with wider asset teams, housing, finance and procurement. Preparing reports for SMT.
