We are currently recruiting for an experienced Estimator to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting to the Estimating Manager, the role will offer training, mentoring and career development opportunities. This role is based at our Glasgow Office, however Hybrid working is available 2-3 days a week. The successful candidate will demonstrate a successful track record in preparing, pricing and submitting tenders to a high quality, will have full analytical estimating knowledge and will also be experienced in the preparation of contract preliminaries. You will ideally have gained experience working for a main contractor predominantly within a fitout / general construction environment. From your experience, you will have developed the confidence to work on your own initiative, have strong knowledge of construction processes, with the ability to manage multiple tenders and tight deadlines. You will have robust commercial acumen, good negotiation skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, consultants, architects, suppliers and sub-contractors to build strong and rewarding ongoing relationships.
