We are looking for experienced operatives with a strong civil engineering and groundwork background who can carry out general groundworks while supporting specialist site activities. Positions Available 1 x Skilled Groundworker with Forward Tipping Dumper Ticket 1 x Skilled Groundworker with Confined Space Ticket The Role To carry out tasks set by site supervisors and gangers to a high standard, while maintaining safe working practices and supporting the site team to deliver the project safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities - Carry out general civil engineering and groundwork activities. - Undertake excavation and groundworks, including digging trenches and loading/unloading materials. - Install drainage, lay concrete, kerbs and pavements. - Work safely in accordance with relevant risk assessments and method statements. - Carry out equipment checks before use. - Keep work areas safe, clean and tidy. - Ensure all required permits, briefings and site procedures are completed before commencing work. - Attend site briefings, forums and toolbox talks. - Communicate any concerns or issues to the site supervisor. - Report near misses and provide feedback to site management. - Maximise productive working time and follow best-practice procedures. - Work effectively as part of the wider site team.
