The Opportunity

They are looking for Remediation Operatives to join their operations based in Yorkshire and Surrey.
The Role
The Remediation Operative is required to undertake building works, groundworks and remediation in relation primarily to oil spill incidents at domestic properties. This includes reinstatement internally and externally to original condition. To complete all works as instructed by the Team Leader.
Skills / Experience
Carrying out site works under the direction of the Seed Remediation Team Leader, Seed Contracts Manager and/or appropriate staff.
Utilising own initiative, skills and knowledge where appropriate
Keeping site tidy, clean and safe- ensuring daily checklist is adhered to.
Driving machinery and undertaking hand dig excavation works to facilitate contamination removal
Supporting the maintenance and servicing of equipment- raising awareness of faulty equipment.
Assisting with collecting photographs throughout works
Carrying out works in accordance with health and safety regulations to include relevant RAMS documentation
Assisting with spill response
Using power tools to carry out intrusive construction works.
Identifying potential hazards and working in a controlled manner around site specific environments
Requirements of the Remediation Operative:
CSCS Card
Previous experience of working on site in construction and/or remediation
Ability to operate plant and machinery
Ability to manage personal time to achieve high levels of productivity
Holder of a full UK driving licence
