Logical Personnel have a great opportunity for experienced electrical control panel wirers to work for our busy client in Nottinghamshire. You will be working within a friendly team and in a great working environment. Our client provides a whole package of services from design and manufacture through to installation and support for automated systems. The Role: To assemble electrical control panels/switchgear accurately and effectively in line with our safety standards. * Understand panel design from wiring diagrams * Understand and interpret electrical schematics * Supporting installation, modifications, and maintenance of all products * Adhering to expected quality standards through the assembly build process * Work within a controlled environment and to deadlines provided by Team leader * Act within the Company’s policies and procedures as set out in the Company handbook * Any other duties conducive to the role and business which are considered to be within your capability The Candidate * Previous experience in Switchgear panel building * Apprentice or time-served in an electrical discipline, such as installations or panel wiring or an electrical qualification * Familiar with mechanical assembly of devices and copper busbar systems * Knowledge of panel assembly/fabrication techniques * Proficiency in the use of hand tools and mechanical equipment * Ability to work as part of a team * Prepared to spend long periods away from home (an essential requirement for site operative personnel) * Ability to work to deadlines * Have a flexible approach to overtime * Hold a full driving licence Working days are typically 8am to 4pm, however they do have overtime available which is paid at time and a third, time and time and a half.
