Experienced Logisitics Manager My client is a leading M&E Contractor in London, they are looking for an experienced Logisitics manager to join them on a long term project in Moorgate. Project Type – 14 floor Cat A Fit out. Project Value - £21M Project completion – March 2024 Role commencement – Feb 2023 Employment status – Contract (with a potential view to permanent). Site specific H&S certification – SSSTS/SMSTS, ECS (CSCS). Salary: £(Apply online only) Per Day or £45,000 P/A Roles and responsibilities * Computer literate * Preferably have prior knowledge in electrical plant, equipment and materials. * Liaise with the principal contractors site logistics team and management. * Liase with material and equipment suppliers and wholesalers. * Manage and work to strict site wide delivery programmes. * Directly manage a small team of labourers and put them to work on a daily basis. * Collate and issue information to the project document platform (Aconex). * Collate and issue information to the project logistics platform including booking in of deliveries (Fulcrum). * On occasion, to order materials via the PME platform (Coins) * Adhere to all project Health safety and Environmental requirements

Electrical Estimator Avolon M&E are working with a client who are looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join a busy and successful team based at their Dartford office. £65k Plus Package. Reporting to the Estimating Manager, this role comprises but will not be limited to: * Timely and accurate submission of tenders * Preparing tenders for internal adjudications * Vetting incoming tenders/offers from our supply chain and ensuring that the most viable offer is included within our submission. * Arranging and chairing tender adjudication meetings and explaining to the attendees the project duration, costing approach and risks to the business In order to be successful the candidate will have to be able to demonstrate: * A team mentality * Excellent communication and organisational skills * High use of initiative * Technical competence * Risk Management competence * Good experience working with Trimble Estimation software * The ability to update the Estimation Database when required Skills and Behaviours: * Commercially astute, able to identify and manage risk and to anticipate issues that may affect costs and address them proactively * An eye for detail and proven ability to work to tight deadlines * Proactive and persuasive with the skills to assess better systems of work in order to advise and assist clients on systems that will save time and money Experience and Qualifications * Preferably qualified by apprenticeship or to C & G/ONC level * Proven experience in a similar position with an M&E contractor or in the M&E division of a main contractor * Proven ability to estimate costs and timescales accurately in order to meet deadlines

Design Manager Avolon M&E are working with a client who are looking for an experience Design Manager to join their team based in their Dartford office. They will be responsible for the delivery of design solutions across a variety of project types. £65k plus package Key Responsibilities: * Working towards Managing a small team of Design Engineers and technicians / CAD engineers , being responsible for the quality and timeliness of work produced * Interacts with the design team to co-ordinate the project and liaises with the Project Manager to ensure that all relevant considerations are incorporated * Attend Site Scoping Surveys alone/with PM and produce Survey/Scope reports * Prepares technical specifications and financial proposals for new work * Assist with Tenders from a Design perspective * Prepares and takes responsibility for concept and preliminary engineering solutions for detailed design within agreed budgets. * Production of detailed drawings, uploading to client’s with design information register * Maintains the company design register * Plan internal resource and review sub-contracting as appropriate additional resources, and manage the process * Ensures senior staff are kept informed of important and relevant service/design decisions and that the objectives of the client are achieved. * Taking overall responsibility for and ensuring every design that is issued by or on behalf of the company has been validated and checked prior to issue. Skills and Behaviours * Commercially astute, able to anticipate issues that may affect the project and address them proactively * ‘Can Do’ Attitude and a ‘want’ to Design within Budget and looking for alternative solutions and VE options for the Client * Always looking at ESI’s and Sustainability * An eye for detail and proven ability to work to tight deadlines * Reliable and responsible, able to work competently on an independent basis * Able to lead and mentor a small team independently
