SCADA Engineer - Homebased
Our client is one of the largest Renewable companies in the UK, specialising in solar farms and battery storage projects. They have built over 120 grid scale solar PV and battery storage projects to date.
This role is to support the projects and engineering teams throughout the full lifecycle of these projects.
Salary/Package - £45,000 -£55,000 + 10% Bonus
Key Accountabilities:
Integration of SCADA and industrial networks in a project lifecycle and delivering to budget, program, quality and safety
Ensures rigorous traceability of project requirements, including baseline scope, work scope amendments, and project changes (variations) and are communicated to the project team
Contractor and supplier coordination and supervision
Delivery of the SCADA technical scope for EPC projects
Supporting the bids and tenders to ensure customer requirements have been fully understood
Control system and SCADA commissioning support and coordination
Stakeholder management support from a site level
Quality assurance in accordance with Major Projects procedures and expectation
Understanding site drawings, SLD’s, data sheets, programmes and workflows
Work with Operations and Maintenance to support maintenance and asset integrity of all SCADA and control systems and any associated obsolescence issues Knowledge & Experience:
Experience with or cognisance of IIOT technology, Industrial Networking and SCADA system
Good knowledge of ground mounted PV and ESS building methods and regulations
Knowledge of document control and it’s application within projects

If you have experience that covers a wide range of building projects within both commercial and residential, whilst working for a main contractor, then you don't want to miss out on this opportunity!
As the Senior Project Manager, you will have the knowledge in the following:
Ability to run sites without support
Precise and cost-effective pre-start planning of development sites
Securing the construction of commercial projects within completed programmes and budgets
Adhering to company safety, quality and presentation standards
