Visit each tenant on a monthly basis or as often as the management contract dictates and report any issues to the appointed Management Surveyor.
Develop a close working relationship with tenant representatives and manage tenant satisfaction and confidence. Ensure that all tenants have relevant contact details for the Regional Facilities Manager and Management Surveyor.
Inspect all properties on frequency specified by the Management Surveyor, multi lets should be visited at least once a month, although site conditions may dictate a higher frequency. In the event of emergency situations, to attend property as soon as is possible and report back to relevant personnel.
Evaluate existing contractual relationships and ensure that the service provided by contractors, is in line with the agreed specification. Ensure that any shortcomings in service delivery, are dealt with swiftly and reported back to the Management Surveyor and Operations team.
Monitor tenant alterations and advise the Management Surveyor of any works noted, to be ongoing on site, of which the Regional Facilities Manager has not been made aware.
Advise the Management Surveyor of any changes in tenants occupational status i.e. vacation of space, new occupiers moving in, potential name changes etc.

Liaise with Procurement team and ensure that required spare parts and consumables are ordered and available
Support mechanical teams
Prepare required reports on defects, issues, breakdowns, damages etc
Ensure all permits required are in place
Ensure staff is using the correct PPE, tools and machinery before starting a task
Manage the Team, Materials and quality of work
Ensure tunnelling works are carried out to agreed budgets and time line
Assist with preparation of cost estimates for project design and construction
Work in conjunction with engineers to solve project design problems
Forecasting of labour, materials, design, equipment to ensure smooth work flow during the tunnelling works
Implement maintenance schedules for all equipment and ensure that maintenance is carried out and records are maintained
Ensure that adequate spare parts are in place to avoid unnecessary non-productive time during the tunnelling works
Liaise with suppliers for spare parts
Maintain responsibility for the storage, filing and archiving of documents relevant to your mechanical tasks
Provide advice and guidance on design and operational issuesKnowledge and Skills required:
Relevant Degree Qualification in Mechanical Engineering
Experience working in the mechanical engineering and tunnelling field
Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability
Ability to build and maintain lasting and positive relationships

They are currently seeking a number of Electrical Project Engineers to join the London Power Tunnel project in multiple locations around London.
The project engineer will support planning, procurement, on site assembly, commissioning, operation and maintenance of electrical systems to ensure the tunnelling works and temporary works on the London Power Tunnel project are safe and fit for purpose.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, Design, support procurement, implement, maintain and control electrical equipment on LPT2 including electrical aspects of mechanical equipment
Evaluate the electrical service provider's safety, reliability and operational performance
Perform calculations to validate the electrical system suitability for the requirements
Collaborate with electricians and engineers to solve emerging issues
Ensure installations are in line with needs and safety standards by preparing electrical systems specifications and technical drawings
Perform quality and performance analysis
Establish and maintain maintenance and inspection plans
Ensure maintenance records are being completed and records held
Ensure staff is using the correct PPE, tools and machinery before starting a task
Inspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications and safety standards
Provide professional support to the management team, helping to ensure high quality service delivery and co-ordinate response to the Client
Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements
Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.

Prepare Risk Assessments and Method Statements
Carrying out defect/breakdown analysis
Assist with fault finding on defective equipment Knowledge and Skills required:
Relevant Degree Qualification in Electrical Engineering
Experience construction of underground utilities, supervision of electrical networks including electrical substations
Experience in the engineering and tunnelling field
Proficiency in design and calculation software
Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability
Data acquisition and interrogation skills
