Role Purpose The Surveyor is responsible for the works within the council's repairs team and that work will cover the following areas:- Disrepair work Refurbishment work (such and kitchen, bathroom and window renewals etc). Void Works Complex Repair Works Day to Day Repairs Damp and Mould Works The pre/mid and post inspection of any of the above. Responsibilities Work in collaboration with colleagues across Housing services to ensure a joint approach to improve quality and customer satisfaction for residents. Support and manage a flexible approach to the deployment of resources within the Property Services Division to respond effectively to fluctuations in workload. Support and manage different types of work within the Property Services Division in response to the changes in the volume of work. Manage the local delivery of the repairs term contract. Ensure that all members of the team are fully conversant with the contract, including the terms and specifications. Oversee the local administration of the repairs contract. Ensure that requests for variations, extensions of time and payments are correctly assessed and carried out within the contractual timescales. Ensure that works not completed in time are chased and escalated where necessary. Ensure that reports are used regularly to ensure that client and contractor are updating the job management system fully and in a timely manner. Oversee the identification of leaks, rising damp, penetrating damp, and condensation across the Housing Property Services portfolio. Ensure that signs of damp caused by plumbing related problems because of leaking water or drainage pipes are diagnosed. Requirements Extensive experience in building surveying and/or repairs operational delivery or supervising contracts or disrepair case management in social housing / councils. Extensive experience of housing responsive repairs including experience of working in a customer service organization providing a high-quality service to members of the public consistently and sensitively, according to their needs and customer care standards. Must hold either a degree in building surveying and/or the equivalent experience in delivering the disrepair service. Demonstrate at least 3 to 5 years management experience FULL UK DRIVERS LICENSE Contract Initial 3 month contract with the opportunity to extend. Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. We are looking for two experienced Glazing Multi-Traders to join our team, delivering high-quality repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment works across Council-owned housing and public buildings. You will be responsible for carrying out glazing works alongside a variety of associated building repairs in both occupied and void properties. Key Responsibilities Carry out all aspects of glazing installation and repair . Install new joinery, including casement and sash windows . Undertake UPVC window repairs (hinges, mechanisms, handles, etc.). Complete timber repairs to windows and frames. Competently carry out joinery replacements as required.

Job Role My client is looking for a contracts surveyor to act as a lead professional in all aspects of repairs and maintenance inspections and the management of repairs providing technical advice in all matters relating to the building stock in a customer focused manner for tenanted and void properties. Job Responsibilities To contract manage term contractors in a designated area to ensure repairs and void repairs are delivered in compliance to contract terms and conditions and that the services provided are to customer's satisfaction and expectations. Ensure that contractors comply with good practice codes, recognised professional standards, appropriate British Standards together with statutory requirements as defined in contract documents and any repairs policy/procedures as required. To manage formal/non-formal complaints/Member/LGO enquiries and ensure repairs are tracked and responses provided in line with the Council's corporate complaints policy. To lead on weekly planned contractors monitoring meetings to review performance and agree corrective actions where appropriate to maintain contract compliance and improvements. To inspect the repairs and review services provided by contractors following unacceptable performance and ensure these are proactively remedied and agreed actions taken to prevent re-occurrences or escalation Requirements Minimum qualification at HNC/HND level or higher in building surveying. Housing Partner (Housing Officer) Bracknell, Berkshire 6 month Fixed Term Contract Mon to Fri 9am to 5pm (hybrid position) 26 per hour Responsibilities Deliver a proactive face-to-face tenancy management service, building relationships with new customers within a patch. You will support the customer journey at key stages of their tenancy such as viewings, new tenancy visits, tenancy audits, end of tenancy visits and property inspections for mutual exchanges and transfers. You will also be required to oversee complex general enquiries and provide information to support complaint resolution. Deal with applications for succession, assignment and other tenancy related matters in line with legislation, policy and the tenancy agreement. Housing Officer Based in Kingston - Managing patch 800 Mon to Fri 9am to 5pm 3 to 6 month ongoing contract Key Responsibilities Resident Engagement: Visit all new tenants in their homes to explain tenancy conditions and identify any vulnerabilities or additional needs. Ensure regular communication and engagement with residents through estate inspections, customer surgeries, and home visits.
