Skilled Operative / Dumper Driver / Banks Man Location: Various sites in London & South East and throughout the UK Hours of work: 07:00 16:00 with the option of overtime ABOUT US ‘Engineering excellence through proficiency.’ Reach Active provides specialist engineering services across the power, multi-utility and building services sectors within the UK and Ireland. ROLE * Operate dumper on specific sites and the Public highway, in conjunction with planned works. * Bank excavator operator during excavation works, and as and when required when moving around sites. * Install specified apparatus as part of the infrastructure build works i.e. ducts, pipes, warning marker tape etc. * Carry out hand dig excavation around services, as and when required. * Ensure completion of all works to a high standard and specific specifications being applied, ensuring compliance with all Health and Safety requirements. * Liaise with other site teams and subcontractors on site, to ensure good interface communication and coordination of works. * Be aware of and promote Reach Active Group Limited Health and Safety policies and risk management. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Previous knowledge and working experience on dumper operations and as part of a two-person team within the Power, Water, Gas and Telecoms industry working within London. ESSENTIAL * Experience working with excavators digging in the highway or around utilities * CSCS card, * CPCS Card (Blue) Competent Operator. Or Npors dumper ticket. * Full UK Driving Licence. DESIRED * Groundworks experience involving white work reinstatement preferred but not essential. * EUSR / Utility Card. * Emergency First Aid (1 Day Qualification). * Full UK Driving Licence. (Class C for Towing). * Deep Excavation and Trench Support. * City & Guilds Basic Electrical Theory or Similar. * Confined Space Entry Certification. * UKPN / SSE 132kV Substation Access. * Current Fit to Work Assessment. * Asbestos Awareness. * Banks Man. * Manual Handling. Job Title: Machine Driver Location: Various sites in London & South East and throughout the UK Department: Multi Utility Diversions & Cable & Ducting Operations. Type: Full time, Permanent Salary: £170-£200 per 9 hr shift ABOUT US ReachActive provides specialist engineering services across the power, multi-utility and building services sectors within the UK and Ireland. ROLE The successful applicant will oversee the individual site team or teams, as and when required on Reach Active Group Limited (RAG) projects. They will have experience working in the multi-utility sector and in highways. Have good working knowledge and experience as a team leader on excavator operations / excavating within the London street scape. Desired: * EUSR / Utility Card. * Emergency First Aid (1 Day Qualification). * UK Driving Licence. (Class C for Towing). * Deep Excavation and Trench Support. * City & Guilds Basic Electrical Theory or Similar. * Confined Space Entry Certification. * UKPN / SSE 132kV Substation Access. * Cable Winch Operations Certification. * Current Fit to Work Assessment. * Asbestos Awareness. * Banks Man. * Manual Handling. Additional Information: The successful candidate must be willing to travel to all company sites in London & South East and throughout the UK, with occasional overnight stays, as and when required. Due to the nature of our works, there is a requirement for the team leader to be agreeable to work out of hours works i.e. weekends and on some occasion’s nights. Within reason, the successful candidate must be willing to cover out of hours works on occasions, to support the project teams

We are a forward thinking and innovative contractor adept at recognising business opportunity, identifying gaps in the market and delivering total solutions that meet the needs and exceed all expectations of our clients. ROLE The successful applicant will form part of a two-person team or other teams, as and when requires on multi utility diversions and cable & ducting projects. The applicant must have experience working in the utility sector and in highways, with a good knowledge and experience on dumper operations.
