Junior Mechanical Estimator Required We are seeking a Junior Mechanical Estimator for an award-winning M&E contractor, you will be joining a team with an outstanding reputation. Our client has several live projects across London and a pipeline of work until 2025, with fit-out packages ranging from 5 to 15 million you must be well versed in fast-paced projects, we require our junior mechanical estimator to have 3 years minimum onsite experience. We require a quantity surveyor that has a good knowledge of brickwork projects ranging from housing to commercial developments usually in the region of £500,000 to £3million. The Role & Responsibilities: * Measuring and estimating, preparing and negotiating final accounts * Preparing valuations for interim application for payment including variations * Remeasure Bill of Quantities, pricing variation orders and charging the client accordingly * Monitoring costs to ensure works are within budgets, preparing contract claims information * Visit live sites to ensure works are running correctly, understand the implications of health and safety regulations * Producing cost value reconciliations * Awareness of SMM About you: * A minimum of 4 years of experience as a quantity surveyor * Knowledge of brickwork is essential * Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel) Other details: The salary is negotiable depending on experience, please indicate your desired salary range in your covering letter. Highway Operatives Required Sterling Site Solutions are seeking Highway Operatives for a longterm contract (48 months) in Windsor and surrounding areas, we are seeking Scheme Gangs with the ability to work of drawings, completing basic groundworks, curb laying, installation of drainage plus surfacing(tarmac).
