An established main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Site Manager to join its team on a major multi-storey refurbishment project. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a prestigious scheme involving both internal and external refurbishment works, including elements of heritage restoration. You'll play a key role in managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest standards. The Role Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, leading subcontractors and direct labour throughout the project. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day running of a large refurbishment project. Oversee all subcontractors and direct labour on site. Coordinate multiple trades to ensure works progress in line with programme. Maintain the highest standards of health, safety and quality. Carry out site inspections and ensure works are completed to specification. Work closely with the Project Manager to drive programme and resolve site issues. Produce site records and progress updates. Ensure efficient site logistics and the smooth coordination of all site activities. About You To be considered, you'll have: Proven experience as a no1 Site Manager working for a main contractor. Experience delivering refurbishment projects. Some exposure to heritage or listed building projects Experience working on multi-storey buildings. Strong experience managing subcontractors, direct labour and site operations. Excellent organisational and leadership skills with the ability to drive programme.
