About The Role EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood. EKFB are recruiting for an Earthworks Engineer, responsible for assisting the Excavated Materials Manager in ensuring collation and reporting of earthworks volumes and Materials Management Plans. You’ll monitor, review and validate reported volumes, materials quality and suitability of use from both the Digital Earthworks platform and Earthworks delivery team, logistics team and construction team. Update the HS2 materials tracking document and manage the HS2 summarised earthworks quantity schedule. You’ll work with the delivery team to mitigate any inconsistencies and provide guidance on the following Materials Management Plans Remediation Strategy and Verification Plans Soils Resource Plans Summarised Earthworks Quantity Schedule Undertakings & AssurancesAdditionally, you’ll provide accurate checks and validation on earthworks production data – e.g. volumes. Liaise with Delivery Team and Quality Assurance Team to assist with the collection of site information and records in order to facilitate compliance to the Materials Management Plan and Verification report. Specifically, we are currently sourcing a Data and Information Coordinator to join our Assurance team in our Milton Keynes office. In this role, you will support a small team of Performance Administrators and you will support the central Safety, Health and Wellbeing (SH&W) team by assuring compliance with processes and procedures for Document Control, Data Handling and Reporting. We expect you to generate and report on performance against KPI's - both internal and client led. We would also like you to produce Management Information in a variety of formats, through interpretation of data analysis and dashboards. This role will require you to set up processes for the download and manipulation of data from the EKFB "People Portal" enabling report production. You'll identify and highlight key information, anomalies and data changes to the Head of SH&W in addition to periodic reporting. We would expect you to run process mapping workshops with stakeholders to determine requirements for digitalisation. You will be responsible for Security Management of multiple sites within your assigned area, on all matters relating to security including: Managing the security provider within your area; Assessing threat and risk at each location and ensuring adequate provisions are in place to mitigate those risks; Development, review and updating site security plans (SSP) appropriate to the threat and risk within your area Collaborating with emergency services, the client and other contractors within your operational area; Support the logistics and traffic management team within your operational area; andYou'll need to ensure that the Operational Support Strategy and Sitewide Security Management Plan is adhered to and provide guidance on all Security issues within your area. About The Role EKFB are recruiting for Design Coordinators to liaise with landowners and agents to discuss the impact of the scheme. You will also collate requests/requirements and liaise directly with the design team, construction team and client team to facilitate requests where appropriate. You'll lead a section for accommodation works packages, being the key interface with wider functions within EKFB. Manage diaries for land possession meetings and provide data to different functions as needed. Direct contact with clients will be required, along with supporting the DJV with accommodation works. Undertake root cause analysis on key performance issues and raise technical queries to the design team and client team and raise EWN's when an issue is known. About The Role We’re seeking to recruit a Section Engineers with Highways, Structure or Earthworks experience. The Section Engineer manages junior engineers and assists the Sub Agent in construction operations. You will be required to report to the Sub Agent and supervise the site engineering team from construction to close out. Assisting with temporary works design schemes, you will liaise with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant and materials to carry out works activities to the required standards, programme and budget. You'll be responsible for managing the site setting-out team and be responsible for the performance and development of the Site Engineers and also for identifying and resolving technical problems on site in liaison with the Sub-Agent. Monitoring and coordinating subcontractors in the performance of their works, ensuring they are completed to the contractual requirements. Ensuring that the team have all current information and resources required to carry out their duties, you will be required to assist with the production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans and contribute to financial forecasting.
