Howard Finley Recruitment are currently looking for candidates for an M&E Contracts Manager vacancy we have in Kent with a well-established company who specialise in the installation and maintenance of all types of material handling systems. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced contracts Manager, who will be responsible for tendering on new projects, to compete with other M&E installation companies. You will be required to review, understand and provide practical advice to project management and execution teams regarding a wide variety of commercial project matters, including contract requirements for material handling projects. General Responsibilities; Setting up & managing the electrical side of the business to be able to undertake the works in a successful & efficient manner. Ability to quote on electrical element of RFQ's, Including resource & materials. Establish what electrical accreditation/certification/registration is required to be able to undertake & conform to any national or Euro electrical installations standards. E.g. NICEIC Assisting with recruitment requirements of electrical staff as and when required. Procuring electrical materials, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for electrical materials, reviewing & approving electrical invoices. A capability to generate additional work from existing client base in warehousing/logistics background Qualifications & Requirements required; Previous experience required of material handing Installations within the warehousing/logistics & ideally Airports industries. A good sense of commercial requirements/awareness when running projects.
