This is a great job opportunity to join a large, well-respected main contractor that delivers some of the most technological advanced construction projects. This wonderful business focuses on delivering a multitude of different types of mechanical and electrical and construction projects across Europe. Due to increasing workloads and project pipeline this business are looking to bring in a Planner into their business, who they can help, train and develop and in time will take lead roles on largescale Data Centre build projects.
You’d have 3-5 years’ construction planning experience, ideally working on building data centres, pharmaceutical, life sciences, labs or semi-conductor buildings, but this is not essential. The client wants a self-starter, a reliable pair of hands. You should have a proven experience of managing or working on a large construction projects.

Person Specification
Essential
* Be proficient using Primavera P6.
* Be highly motivated, a self-starter and able to work well in a team on or your own.
* Be living in Dublin or willing to relocate (at your own expense).
* Willing to relocate to Europe for work permanently, or to be able to come home on a fortnightly rotation in the years ahead.
* A clear and articulate communicator.
Desirable
* A strong knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical construction projects.
* Understand a construction build project, from drawings you can put a program plan in place and monitor and manage through to project completion.
* Have an academic qualification in a construction or civil engineering subject.
* Experience working as a foreman, site engineer or site manager would be a big positive (but not essential).
* Be well organised.
* Be tough, self-motivated and with the single-mindedness to achieve goals.
* Be able to communicate well and to influence colleagues and clients at all levels.
* Inspire confidence and be a good representative for the company.
* Be adept at keeping cool under pressure, can manage time effectively and skilled in prioritising tasks.
* Have good IT skills. The company currently uses Primavera P6 and Asta Powerproject.
Remuneration
Depending on experience, the salary on offer would be between £40-60k (paid in Euros) + car allowance, travel expenses, plus other benefits package.
