Practical Completion Certificates for all live schemes
* Manage revised e-mail central procedure and management recording systems for the New Business Structure
* Manager, arrange & attend Site Meetings, minute take and complete for distribution to all parties involved.
* Action all e-mail for correspondence requests for Directors of the business on a time management to be agreed on weekly rota basis.
* Manage and update monthly website – increase brand awareness into the marketplace, looking to increase business opportunities and PJA market share.

Retention and CIS sheet
Verification and approval of subcontractors
Cheque writing and allocation
Payment of Pro Forma invoices
Maintain the sales ledger, including
Raising of invoices for measured works
Posting and allocation within Sage
Regular updates to the Directors
Banking, including
BACS/CHAPS/Transfer transactions as and when required
Bank reconciliation
Transferal of transactions to Sage
Daily forecasts
Management of Rebates, including
Maintaining the rebate schedule
Claiming supplier rebates when due
Chasing payment of supplier rebate claims
Assist Buying Manager with chasing for annual agreements
Raise paperwork and process any queries

Send monthly statements
Administer the CPA function

This position would have you acting as operations manager across several residential new build sites based within Bedfordshire, Northampton, and Rushden, with you focus being entirely on the plumbing aspect of these projects.
As a market leader in providing integrated services to the residential construction sector, our company is eager to find someone capable of taking on the responsibility of providing consistency across a variety of large projects and sites. You will act to maintain their site team’s compliance within the company’s best interests and that regionally their schemes are being planned & executed to and agreed scope of works and contract, ensuring that projects stay within budget and maintain profitability.
Duties
* Promote a positive health and safety culture across all Projects.
* Form close links with the client’s representatives and their teams.
* Organize and plan labour resources to meet program.
* Ensure quality and high standards of installations are consistent across all projects
* Provide monthly labour forecasts for all Projects and share with the business.
* The greatest risk to any project is uncertainty, therefore the Contracts Manager must maintain focus on this as their main concern as an attempt to reduce risk significantly through open communication with all Managers and Directors.
* Undertake the formal appraisal of Supervisors and Apprentices.
* Promote cooperation and teamwork by liaising with the relevant department heads to gain efficiencies and mitigate and close out any issues.
* To overcome certain tasks and conflicts a Contracts manager must show initiative and be able to find ways to best adapt a situation to provide a successful overall outcome.
* Establish the Training requirements required in your teams and record to the Health and Safety Manager and HR Manager for auctioning, once Director approval has been given
* Maintain and review the Project periodic progress reports to be shared with the business.
* Monitor compliance across all Projects.
* Attend Periodic management meetings with fellow Commercial Managers, Technical Managers and Health & Safety Managers to ensure that any good or bad practices happening elsewhere in the business are communicated back into their Line projects.
* Review Budgets and PL (jointly and severally with the commercial team).
* Review and approve the Subcontractor Pay run (jointly and severally with the commercial team).
* That the strict guidelines as set out in QMS documents for production management and Commercial Management are being adhered to.
Essential Criteria
* Must have experience working within residential new builds
* Must have experience in full range of plumbing projects (from water treatment, to sprinkler systems, to indoor plumbing)
