What will you be doing as our new Technical Manager?
As our new Technical Manager, you’ll be responsible for Construction Design and Management and Principal Designer duties whilst ensuring technical outputs meet the requirements of the Totex Delivery Process as well as meeting project affordability within timescales agreed with the project team. As a visible and hands on leader, you’ll regularly provide technical support during assembly as required.

* Deliver complete designs to meet project requirements whilst embracing technological advancements and help achieve the aim of fully attributed 3D models for every project to facilitate the manipulation of data
* Develop and embed standard products, quality standards, collaborative working approaches and the Risk, Opportunity & Value process to optimise performance and reputation
* Drive and champion excellence in Health & Safety by completing required audits and documentation and never compromising anyone’s safety during projects

Based in the Stepps office you will be responsible to deliver process design solutions from Client definition stage through design development, integration and commissioning / handover.
ESD is a joint venture between MWH Treatment, Black & Veatch, and Galliford Try formed to deliver Scottish Water’s Non-Infrastructure programme.
You will report directly to the Design Manager and the responsibilities will include:
* Develop Client process design solutions which are cost-effective, meet the requirements of the Client specifications, CDM regulations, governance procedures, and can be constructed and commissioned effectively.
* Prepare project execution plan including work breakdown and resource plan.
* Ensure process solutions can be effectively integrated with existing assets, attending site as required to establish condition, suitability and performance of such assets.
* Analyse process data to support the above.
* Ensure standard designs and design practices are utilised wherever possible.
* Working as part of an integrated multi-disciplinary design and delivery team, attend and contribute to all relevant project and technical meetings.
* Establish collaborative working relationships with construction staff and supply chain representatives to promote buildability, and supply chain efficiency in design outputs.
