ARC RT are currently recruiting for a Multi-Trader to join one of our clients, a fast growing and successful property maintenance company based in North London.
Due to continued growth, they are now looking to hire two additional multi-traders to join their ever-growing team.
The company has been successful in building up a client base of property managers, block managers, insurance agents, landlord and estate agents.
As a multi-trader you should have a diverse range of skills, however the client is looking for someone with a strong carpentry background. Secondary skills should be tiling, plastering, plumbing, and decorating.
On a day-to-day basis you will be involved in a variety of work such as small jobbing to large kitchen, bathroom, extension, and reactive works. No two days will be the same.
The client operates on a right first-time basis meaning you should have good fault-finding skills and an eye for detail. Along with this you should be courteous and very client facing.
In return my client will offer a generous starting salary of above market average of between £40,000 - £45,000 plus van, fuel card, uniform, phone, holidays, and pension.
As the company grows there will be a real opportunity for the successful multi-trader to become part of the leadership team.

Electrician Social Housing Test & Inspection
ARC RT are currently recruiting for an electrician to join our client, a successful electrical compliance and safety company.
Due to securing new, long term contracts they need to hire two additional electrical testers for their social housing clients.
The electrician will be expected to complete the periodic test reports of occupied properties within social housing stock and the C1 remedial works. C2 works will be booked in to complete at a later date. This position will require you to do a mix of test and remedial work.
To be considered for this position my client will only accept electricians with the following qualifications: 18th edition, 2391 or 2394/5 (they will also be happy with EAL testing qualifications) and you must have an ECS card. All reporting will be completed electronically on a company provided iPad and as such you should be comfortable with reporting on the NICEIC software.
All efforts are made by the client to adhere to government guidelines regarding social distancing and PPE when in a customer’s home. As such all appointments are properly qualified prior to your arrival.
In return my client will offer a generous starting salary of £32,000 with a van, fuel card, iPad, uniform, PPE, holidays, test kit, ladders and the option of overtime should you require it.

You will be responsible for completing the periodic and end of tenancy EICR's for the properties. There is NO remedial works apart from C1 to be carried out as the company has their own reactive and remedial teams. This position is purely for testing and you will be required to carry out between 2 & 4 tests per day depending on the size of property and distance between jobs. The jobs will always be in Surrey, Hampshire and West London (Twickenham & Hounslow).
The client is expecting the electrician to be 18th edition, level 3 and if you have 2391 or 2394/5 that would be advantageous but not essential.
All of the works are scheduled in advance and you will know your jobs a week prior. The working hours are between 8am - 4.30pm. In return you will be provided with a generous salary of between £35,000 - £38,000, van, fuel card, pension, holidays and laptop (all jobs, worksheets and reports are online). Overtime is available if you want it, it is not expected of you.
