INFORM3 Recruitment Working foreman – 6 weeks fit out project Currently looking for a working foreman for a 6 week office fit out project based in Holborn Central London. Full strip out and some light internal demolition followed by a full fit out. Project starts on Monday 27th and immediate interview are taking place this week Key Tasks: Site Foreman * Install and manage teams to deliver successful projects * Effective supplier management * Bringing together the full team across projects * Logistics, technical and production * Assisting with project review meetings/debriefs * Working alongside the Senior project manager and Managing director on larger projects * Working on pitches and tenders alongside the Sales Team as a specialist in project management/delivery * Coaching and mentoring on site crew and yard crew * To deliver client orders from start to finish; to time, cost, quality and safety standards, communicating details of CAD plans, drawing and/or instructions for each project to the team * To ensure that all Health & Safety practices and procedures are followed appropriately Technical Management * Ensuring projects are delivered professionally, on time and to high company standards * Establish standards of safety and performance on projects and inspect quality of work against these standards * Maintaining the professional reputation of the company at all times CV with recent project history and 2 references required. It is vital that the successful candidate has a number of years’ experience and is able to work independently. The Foreman must ensure that the project is planned, programmed and delivered on time to the satisfaction of the client and his professional team with respect to quality, safety, environmental impact and budget. Civils Foreman Key Responsibilities: * Responsible for supervising and co-ordinating teams of direct labour and specialist sub-contractors and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines the contract. * To assist with providing information for completion of daily site diary, allocation sheets, time sheets, record of labour, progress report sheets, plant returns, material returns and local site purchase sheets. * Contribute to and measurement of performance against programme. * Production of outputs and performance measurement. * Liaison with project managers for removal and installation of plant and equipment. * Daily briefings to operatives and set a good personal example. * Ensure the highest standard of safety protocols are established and implemented on site. * Maintain site harmony through understanding of site IR procedures. * Understanding the interfaces between trades. * To provide a safe place of work that complies with current legislation. * To run the site as directed by the Project Management Plan. * Be aware of responsibilities from the HSEQ policies Required Qualifications/Experience: * Proven track record of successful project delivery * Relevant experience in multiple civil engineering activities * Experience in heavy plant operations – desirable, not essential. * Earthworks and muck shifting etc This client appreciates the value of hard work, professional working practices and high standards and in return can offer an excellent overall package to the right person. Senior Civil Engineer Responsibilities: * Develop the contract programme - establishing sequence and timing of operations necessary for the completion of the work and ensure all necessary resources are in place * Extensive experience of engineering, able to oversee structural activity and keep it in line with company procedures. * Ensure all relevant information is collated, reviewed and actioned at regular contract review meetings. * Attend client/consultant meetings, prepare and respond to the requirements of the meeting to ensure * Management of junior engineers * Management of sub-contractors, labourers and onsite staff * Delivery of and compliance with, quality and health and safety procedures and legislation requirements * Capable of working on complex projects with min supervision * Experience in working in a fast paced and intense environment * Experience in managing quality system * Support all business objectives * Traffic management * Check and understand all drawings and specification. They will be required to undertake surveying, setting out and site supervision work while keeping records of all site activities.
