We are looking for a number of qualified Electricians to work on housing maintenance contract in the Hereford postal area. The successful candidate will be part of a team delivering a testing service on local authority properties carrying out periodic test and inspection works on properties. There is a mix of Just test and Fuse board upgrades and test, as well as remedials. At least 17th Edition is and to have have 2391 or 2394 & 2395. We are ideally looking for someone with a full UK drivers licence and social housing experience.
This will be price work so you will be paid per test and additional monies for replacing sockets etc
The role will involve the following:
Carrying out electrical periodic inspection and testing work in domestic properties
Working closely with the site supervisor and management team
Completing minor remedial works if required
Producing accurate NICEIC reports
To be considered for this role applicants MUST have the following experience and qualifications:
A recognised electrical qualification
City & Guilds 2391 or City Guilds 2377 or equivalent
Asbestos Awareness
17th Edition as a minimum
A proven ability to work in a safe manner in accordance with company policies and safety legislation
In addition candidates must be up to date with current legislation

• Ability to manage own time effectively, prioritising tasks when required, multitasking and meeting deadlines
• Ability to undertake repetitive heavy lifting with appropriate equipment if necessary
The post is full time based on a 40 hour working week. This will include weekends, evenings and bank holidays, working weeks run from Monday to Sunday with shifts worked on 5 days from 7, and may involve irregular shift patterns. Overtime will be paid on any additional hours agreed by management.
