They offer excellent training, mentoring and “on the job” experience using a variety of both traditional and scanning surveying equipment with the additional opportunity to develop your skills further within Measured Building Surveying. They are looking for someone with the following background and experience: * Technical qualifications in surveying or a construction related discipline * Ideally some previous experience in topographical or building surveying using Leica 1200 series, GPS, and TPS equipment, Faro Laser scanner although this is not essential. * Good all round IT skills. * Excellent communication skills. * MUST HAVE a full UK driving license

Our client is an established company that offers a range of architectural systems and products which include unitized and framed systems, curtain wall, windows and doors and are currently seeking an Estimator in their North West offices Duties: * To provide fully detailed quotations * Review all enquiries and where necessary distribute to the appropriate departments for further review. * Carry out thorough review of drawings / tender documentation to determine appropriate products to quote. * In conjunction with the Estimating Manager ensure that Planning is updated at all times, with links to completed quotes for ease of future retrieval. * Ensure that quotations are issued on time and in line with the timeframes outlined in the estimating planner. * Continually review quoted prices against the norm. * Ensure that quotation letter is fully detailed with the proposed company specification and appropriate discount. * Ensure that the quotations qualifications and clarifications accurately reflect the proposed company specification. * Review construction issue drawings against tender drawing to identify any value engineering opportunities Requirements: * Good technical knowledge of Curtain Walling products * The ability to read technical drawings, understand specifications and client requirements * Previous experience in a similar role * Computer literate with experience of Microsoft Office, Logikal and AutoCAD

Our client is a medium sized Engineering consultancy based in South Yorkshire and due to increasing workload and ambitions to expand further, they are looking to recruit a Project Co-ordinator / Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their experienced team. Their expertise and client base is very diverse covering both the Minerals and Waste sector as well as the Construction and House Building industries, and the successful candidate would be expected to assist in a wide range of geotechnical fields, key areas include: * Project Co-ordination and Management of both Phase 1 desk studies, Phase 2 site investigations and Phase 3 site remediation works. * Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) for landfill and other earthworks projects. * Mineral reserve assessments including managing drilling contracts. Experience in one or more of the above is essential. The candidate should also be outgoing and confident and have excellent communication and written skills as they will be responsible for the preparation of quotes, tenders and liaising with customers, sub-contractors and internal staff to ensure the successful completion of projects. The role would be based out of their Sheffield office, but would also involve some site work. Candidates should ideally have a first degree in Civil Engineering or Applied Geology with a geotechnical bias or similar equivalent. MSc in Geotechnical Engineering, or related subject, is desirable and is essential where the first degree is Applied Geology. Additionally, vocational qualifications including CSCS and First Aid would be advantageous

Excellent entry level position for those wishing to gain training and experience in 3D Mechanical & Electrical Building Services Revit Modelling working with a multi-national company working on large prestigious projects including Sports Stadia, Hospitals, Commercial Office, Education, etc The position is open to recent graduates as well as those with previous work experience. You shall learn to produce 3D Revit models of M & E Building Services installations including the co-ordination of services. Candidate requirements: * Ideally possess a technical qualification within Engineering or Construction (Building Services, Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Architecture, etc) * Some previous experience in the production of drawings using AutoCAD such as Pipework, Ductwork, Air Conditioning, Electrical, Mechanical, Architecture, Structures, etc. * Proficient in the use of AutoCAD with some exposure to Revit being advantageous * Ambition and enthusiasm to gain further training and grow with the company
